✨Chapter forty-two✨

After amity finished telling luz about everything amity walked upstairs and into luz's room while luz and aiuz walked to the door and saw hooty fighting off a couple of the  emperor's guards and right once he got every single one of them more of them popped out of the bushes now surrounding the house. Which was also making it too many for hooty to fight off himself, luz growled lowly saying "all of you leave this place before this turns into something you don't want it to be" they all ignored her as one of the guards tried to cast a fire spell at her, bad idea on his part.

Luz then grabbed an ice glyph creating a small ice barrier to stop the fire spell from hitting her "alright guess we are doing this the hard way"  luz then shifted into her wolf form now growling even louder than she was at first. Some of the guards backed away from the wolf while the rest of them stayed in a ready position, then a swift move luz wiped out a couple of the guards with her claws going into some of the guards skin. As amity was sitting in the room she heard the commotion and looked out the window.

Right once she looked out of the window she saw luz fighting against the guards so she got up running out of the room and into where Eda and Lilith were and told them what was going on. Both clawthorne sisters gasped as they all rushed outside helping luz in any way that they could, even though Eda and Lilith couldn't use their powers. While they were fighting the guards amity didn't notice it but one of the guards ran up to her pining her down on the floor and grabbing a pocket knife and standing up holding onto amity's neck. As soon as he was able to fully stand up he put the knife up to amity's neck and screamed out the words "hey wolf look what I got here".

Luz stopped what she was doing and looked over at the guy seeing what he was doing, luz snarled at the guard ready to pounce on him "one movement and I'll kill her" the guard sneered still holding the knife at amity's neck. "Let her GO" luz snarled with a huge amount of anger, amity was looking at her with a scared face but luckily enough for her she was able to cast a fire spell sending it straight to his face making him wince in pain and let go of her and as she moved out of the way luz ran past her ad used her claws scratching him right down the stomach.             

There was still about six guards standing there but once they had saw what luz had did to their fellow guard they booked it back it back to the emperor's castle, luz was about to chase them but amity stopped her and told her it wasn't worth it. Luz then started to get dizzy as her eyesight was getting more blurry until she passed out shifting back into a human "LUZ!?" Amity screeched as she ran over to luz turning her around seeing a knife in her stomach with blood surrounding it.

"No No No luz just stay with me please" amity cried, Eda ran into the house as she grabbed her staff picking luz up and laying her down as she let amity get on and flew to the hospital. Once they got there eda jumped off of he staff picking luz up and running into the hospital telling the nurse what is going on. The nurse stood up rushing into the doors to grab the emergency doctors and coming back out with the doctors and a surgery bed telling Eda to place her on there. Eda did as told and placed luz on the bed and watched the surgeons pull luz out of her sight and into the operation room

Amity and Eda then went to sit down in two of the chairs, both being very impatient and worrying but for amity she was losing it beginning to hyperventilate as tears ran down her eyes. Eda wrapped her arms around her to comfort the girl as the best she could. After 6 hours of waiting the nurse finally came up to them said "she is fine we were able to get the knife out of and to stitch her back up tho she may not wake up for a while and you are allowed to go see her" amity then asked where her room was and bolted.

Right once amity entered the room she saw luz in the bed asleep with a needle in her arm for hydration, amity then walked over to her grabbing one of the chairs and sitting down next to her, She grabbed luz's hand as and put it to her head crying softly. Eda then came into the room and sat next to amity looking at luz for a couple minutes and turning to look at amity, Eda then put a hand on her back as she said "don't worry one of this is anybody's fault and luz will be just fine she's strong" Eda said reassuring the girl.

Amity nodded as she was still crying a bit, Eda then noticed that it was getting late and asked "are you gonna come back home or are you gonna stay here" Amity looked at her and said "I'll stay here" Eda nodded patting amity on the head and then gabbing her staff and walking out of the room and going back home. Amity them stood up going to where the light was and turned the light switch off and walking back over to luz and curling up next to her and nuzzling into her chest and falling asleep.

While amity was asleep one of the nurses came into the room to check on luz and then left smiling softly at the two. The next day amity woke up looking at luz seeing that she still hasn't woke up yet and frowned, Amity then got up giving luz a kiss on the head and saying "please wake up soon hun" she then backed away from her and exited the room walking back home. When she got back to the owl house or was still pretty early and she still had school so she walked into her room and grabbed her clothes going to take a shower.

Once she finished she walked out of the bathroom with her uniform and walked over to where aiuz was and picked him up walking into the kitchen and making something for the both of them to eat. Once they finished amity stood up with aiuz flying onto her shoulder and sitting down, Amity grabbed everything that she would need for school and walked out of then house walking straight to school as she sat down on the school stairs. As she waited for willow and gus to come to school for a couple minutes.

While amity was waiting she was mostly just playing with aiuz "mittens " she heard someone call out her name already knowing who it was it wasn't willow and gus it was her siblings sure she'd been talking to them for a while asking how it was at the house and how they were doing and they did see and talk to each other in school. Amity waved at them as the twins walked over to her as amity stood up and pulled the both of them into a hug with both of the twins hugging her back.

Once they separated they amity and Emira sat down while edric leaned on the the railing, Eric then looked around as if he was trying to look for something "oh I forgot to ask where is luz I would've expected you to be with her" Edrick asked. Amity looked down for a moment and then looked back up starting to explain what happened "wait luz is ok tho right" emira asked, amity nodded and said "she's alright she just still hasn't woke up yet" Amity answered. The twins really cared about luz they would always hang out with luz when they had class together so they both really hoped that she was okay "would it be ok if we went to see her with you today" Amity nodded and they talked for a little longer until willow and gus came. 

Of course amity had to tell them what happened and agreed to take them to the hospital, as they all talked for a bit longer the bell rung and they all separated to go to their classes. Once amity finished class she went outside and waited for everyone else to come. Once everyone came outside they all walked to the hospital and walked into luz's room, willow was mostly the one who was trying not to cry walking over to luz and pulling her into a hug sobbing a bit. When she let go she backed up and sat down in a chair next to amity.
