It was interrupted.

That wasn't how he pictured things would go, but as his feet took him inside the maze of a garden this mansion has, he couldn't help but smile.

He's exhilarated. The thrilling sensation rushing through his veins, making his feet walk faster even if they don't have an exact destination to go to. His thumb is tucked inside his fists which are both hidden on either side of his pockets, and that smile he has already makes his face hurt but he doesn't know where else he should direct his happiness. Yelling to the world about how his girl clearly gave him consent to kiss her is the one thing that can help him get it all out right now, but this is not his place to do that, and to prevent his throat from releasing a sonic sound of joy and all that, he bit his lip. Hard. But not hard enough to make it bleed, because a beautiful woman will have to kiss it later.

Her face is what's plastered in every corner of his mind right now, he can't see the colors of the flowers or the two pairs of feet he's approaching because Drea's everything he could think about right now.

"Good evening, son." The brand-new Missus Weissman greeted him. Only then did he raised his chocolate brown orbs to meet another two pairs of blue. The newly-weds are standing in front of him with all their brightest smiles.

"Mr. and Mrs. Weissman," he tenderly replied. The happiness he tries to hide still surfaced in his voice and smile. He couldn't even look at them eye to eye but the two are old enough to know what's going on, considering that they're the ones who pushed Drea there in the first place.

As soon as he saw that familiar look in Jared's eyes, Leo Weissman knew right away. There's kind of like a telepathic connection between men in love. Their smiles mirror each other and the way their voices tremble will forever be a familiar sound. He simpered to Jared, "Someone's happy."

And he can't help it. "Very much," he replied. Denying or hiding it is pointless.

The couple looked at each other, and as much as they know of Jared's thoughts, he knew the same about the exchange happening between them. It's as if they have gotten something they are forever wishing for-- that is Drea's happiness, of course. Someone to love her the way she deserves. That being said, and that being him makes it all the more ecstatic. Never in his life has he been so wanted and feeling it now is such a foreign feeling that at the same time felt like home. This, felt like home. Like he finally wants to settle down and spend his days with what he can call a treasure. An everlasting jewel that may never lose her shine.

Home.

The two escorted him in, since he really doesn't have a place to go. The whereabouts of their daughter need not concern them. She's probably just rehearsing her first kiss or something. They led Jared to their humble abode, letting him explore the beauty of it. However, it didn't take long. If their daughter and him had an unfinished business back in the garden, they might as well continue it somewhere private. With that in mind, they took the right side of the twin staircase, leading to the east wing where Drea's gigantic room is located. Not that the rooms here are way too small, in fact all of them measure a good 495 square meters, just that Drea's is a lot more spacious. it's designed that way because she had been claustrophobic when she was young, The great efforts of her mother unto killing her have made her a prisoner in small spaces. They wanted her to feel as free as possible that's why her room loomed with artificial stars. Up on her veranda is surrounded by glass walls, where her telescope is located. She loved the stars, the celestial. She felt like she could fly while looking at them. And they are beautiful. Jared finds them beautiful, like how he found her in the dark.

"Thank you," he muttered as he was sent in by her parents. He knew she fancied stars, but he didn't expect that every corner of her room would be all about it. That was no problem for Jared though, because he loves stars, too. He's astonished by the view outside her window, and everything else inside this wide space is rightfully placed. Almost as if they were parts of a big puzzle piece.
