The hallways were filled with talkative people. People were doing the usual, talking, laughing, and just getting along with the people around them. You weren't feeling as happy as you were before, as Eren had departed from you, on your own accord, to avoid conflict with others. He wanted to freely roam the halls, with you, but it seemed such a dream couldn't be inhabited, simply at a time like this. A time when girls lusted over a man who held no care in the world for them, but you.

While you were close to the classroom, you saw a familiar figure emerge out of the corner of your eye. You didn't want to turn around, to make it seem as if you were staring at the group of people, but you couldn't help it. It was like an itch you couldn't scratch, one you couldn't ignore, an urge you couldn't dismiss. No matter how much you wanted to shrug off the thought of getting a peek at them, you just couldn't.

You wanted to so badly allow yourself to turn and glance at the sight, that seemed to trigger how bad your gut felt, but you couldn't do so, not yet at least. But, your attempt to forcefully hold it back, only triggered you to feel as if you were going to mentally tear apart, unable to bring yourself to thoroughly focus on the situation. You needed Eren, right now, you needed his comforting words as you felt your gut feeling somewhat worsen. You heavily disdained this, you felt as if you needed to heavily proceed with caution, unable to allow words or things, to flow freely from your lips — you felt rather restricted.

Fuck it. You turned your head subtly, in the direction of the individuals, to see Amilia with a group of girls. They were laughing at something, that didn't seem funny, her laugh had a sinister tone embedded into it. You couldn't help but feel your stomach churn at her attention-attracting laugh that seemed too forced. Whose laugh is laced with a tone of evil? They all instantly turned around to face you, scowling at the sight of your presence. Their playful attitude was exchanged with a glare. A glare filled with pure hatred towards you. Her minions couldn't help but mimic her gesture and body language, just to try to make their presences seem more intimidating and threatening.

You couldn't help but find yourself growing rather ill, at their gestures, unable to fathom how she had allowed her childish antics to dictate what she was currently doing. You knew nothing about the girl, but you guys were rather grown. There was no real authentic reason to act as if you guys were in a cliché. As, solely, it was pointless.
