The chirping of birds signified that morning had dawn, crisp and clear. The first rays of sunlight diffuse in your room, bright as ever contrary to your emotions. You rubbed your temple and exited the room only to find your uncle sipping his coffee as the TV played in the background.

"BREAKING NEWS: THE SYMBOL OF PEACE SHATTERS" The TV news headlines displayed.

"The operation to rescue 16 year old, Bakugou Katsuki resulted in both favourable and unfavourable consequences; the latter being the downfall of All Might. Citizens are anxious of what's to come after the Symbol of Peace is shattered. The rescue team which consists of-"

You switched off the TV before the reporter could finish her sentence and threw the remote control aside before joining Tsukauchi.

"Have you ironed your clothes?" He asked.

"No, not yet," you solemnly replied.

The living room was quiet and dull. Both parties refused to engage in further conversation. After all, it was the funeral day of someone very dear to you.

2 weeks have passed since the tragic day but during the period, complications arose centring on Bakugou's kidnaping and the fight between All Might and All For One. You too were involved in the rescue operation along with Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu, despite still coping with your grief & loss. When things were finally cleared, it was time for a proper burial.

After breakfast, you took a shower and donned your black dress, something you never thought you'd wear. Tsukauchi prepared the car engine and the two of you finally drove off to the location. Upon arrival, the entire class was already there gathering around his casket, some were crying while others held back their tears.

"Hey, Kaminari... Why did you have to go so soon. Didn't we promise to become adults together and drink till our hearts' content. What happened to that promise..?" Kirishima clenched his fist while choking back his tears.

"I miss you so damn much, man" Sero sobbed in his palms.

Bakugou remained silent. No tears, no words just remorse and pain on his features. He was hoping that maybe if he prayed a little harder, Kaminari would pop up and laugh at how depressed he look and just go about his day. But this is reality, he's really gone for good.

Jirou, who was next to you, showed no reaction either. Internally, she was still in a state of shock to the point where talking seemed arduous. You knew that she always had hidden feelings for Kaminari and vice versa. The fact that both of them couldn't confess their love was heartbreaking. It will forever remain untold.

"Hey, Y/N... What were Kaminari's last words?" Midoriya politely asked.

Your eyes widened. "He..." you paused. "He said that he loves each and everyone of you," you continued, almost breaking down.

"I see..." he muttered as sobbing from the crowd grew more audible.

You were the one who had to break the news regarding Kaminari's death. But instead of telling them about his affiliation with Kaden and the villains, you chose to tell them about how he died sacrificing his life for you. Which technically wasn't a lie. You wanted to paint him as a good guy because truthfully he wasn't bad at all. He was just misguided.

By the time you got back into the car with Tsukauchi, your tears have dried up completely but next came the intense headache.

"I need to return to my office so I'll send you home first-"

"No," you intercepted his sentence. "Hospital. Drive me to the hospital. I need to see him,"

Tsukauchi's eyes glanced to the side to see your fatigue form. His eyebrows pulled into a frown, face full of concern. But he knew that stopping you was pointless because you'd always find a way to get to the hospital.
