** Y/N's POV **
Morning came, illuminating all four walls of your white bedroom. You pulled the blanket away and sat on the edge of your bed, trying to regain your composure after a bad dream. Again, it was the same old nightmare where you were killed by a bolt of lightning that pierced through your heart. The nightmare was so graphic that you just wanted to lean over and puke all the gunk out. However, you refused to let it ruin your day as you were finally able to get back to school after days of being hospitalised. Using your palm, you pushed yourself to stand up and finally trudged your way to the bathroom.
Under the warm running water, your fingers gently caressed your forehead as you tried to recall the familiar sensation you had last night.
'Come to think of it, i felt something soft and warm on my forehead while i was asleep. Was it a dream..?'
You mentally slapped yourself in the face when your mind started to fantasise about Aizawa planting a kiss on your forehead. Surely that cold hearted man was not the type to act that way. The both of you might have loved each other back when Aizawa was a teen but with the current situation being a mess, he would rather throw you overboard now. Well, that was what you thought until your mind mulled over yesterday's event when his lips almost touched yours. If it wasn't for the dang microwave, the relationship could've progressed somewhere.
But still, you didn't know if Aizawa did that purely out of reflex and blinded by lust or if he genuinely loved you. Either way, you knew that it was best to finally give up on him.
After days of being away from school, you were finally back again. As soon as you stepped in, the classroom went into a pandemonium and before you knew it, you were engulfed in a sea of people, huddling around you.
"Y/n!!! We were so worried about you!!!" Mina cried as she vigorously rubbed her cheeks against yours in circles.
"Are you okay??" Uraraka asked worriedly.
"Yes I'm fine..." your words slowly trailed away when a certain yellow haired boy caught your attention. For a moment his eyes seemed completely dark and void of emotion until he finally snapped back to reality.
"Man, Y/N! You were amazing during the Sports Festival. Guess i have to brush up my skills!" He sheepishly grinned with narrowed eyes as he scratched the back of his head.
Your eyelids drooped, noticing how his expression lacked sincerity. That was unlike him. Maybe it was just you overthinking, but after that incident in the hospital, you couldn't help but to feel wary of Kaminari.
Just as you were about to speak, you felt a sudden presence directly behind your back. Your head slowly looked up to see the pro hero towering over you menacingly. He entered the room and instructed everyone to get back to their respective seats. They all groaned and heavily walked back except you who was still dazed.
"What are you waiting for? Christmas?" Aizawa glanced over his shoulders and interjected your thoughts. You gave a slight bow before finally scurrying to your table.
"Alright, as you all know, your first term final exam is coming up," He announced making everyone sunk back into their chairs in dread. "The exam will be a culmination of everything from the first semester. It will be split into two, the Written Exam and the Practical Exam where you will have mock battles with the teachers,"
Simultaneously everyone's jaw dropped. Not because of the mock battle but more towards the written part of the exam because the last time they had one, it fried all their brain cells.
"As for the written exam, if you fail, you will be required to attend remedial classes after school. And if you don't want that, you better pull your shit together," he concluded, leaving everyone trembling in fear and with that, lesson resumed as per normal.
