I had woken up in an unfamiliar setting. As I tried getting up my head was spinning, forcing me back to the ground. After I adjusted to the throbbing pain in my head, I began scanning my surroundings. From what I understood, I was in a forest, but this wasn't one of the Kiyam Clans forests.
"Hyunjin-" I heard someone say before snapping my head in that direction.
"Daehwi?" I said as I examined the boy. Daehwi was bleeding a lot, after taking a proper look I noticed there was a huge gash across his right side.
"Daehwi! What happened?!" I yelled, dragging myself over to the boy.
"I can't remember" was all Daehwi said before groaning. "Hyunjin, please help me-"
"Of course I'm going to help you. Do you think I'm going to leave you here to die?" I looked at the bleeding boy, staring into his eyes "Your one of my closest friends, we've known each other for years"
I grabbed Daehwis arm, as gently as I could, and carried him. As the two of us were walking, something rustled behind them. I turned my head around seeing as I couldn't move my entire body because of Daehwi.
"Who's there?" I said, straightening my posture.
From behind a willow tree, a young boy walked out. My eyes immediately soften after seeing the shaking boy, fidgeting with his fingers.
"Are you okay?" Daehwi said slipping off my shoulder a bit, uncovering The Kiyam Clan crest I wore on my robe.
"I'm oka-" the boy stopped.
He gasped but instead, it sounded like a shriek when he saw the crest. Before Daehwi and I could process what had happened, the boy fled, running as fast as he could.
We were confused at first as to why the boy had run away. I placed Daehwi down near a tree so we could take a quick break. Only moments after I had sat down, Daehwi slapped his hand over his mouth.
"What?" I asked.
"The crest, he saw the crest" Daehwi pointed at my ripped robe.
My face dropped, we didn't know whose land we were on so whoever finds us could be a major enemy.
"We have to try and get out of here"
