- Memories from the past flow like a river influencing our actions in the future -

Mina POV

I woke up extra early this morning so that I could make Mitsuki and Kaito some breakfast. "Minari?" I heard my wife yell out my name, "In the kitchen!" I yelled back, hoping she could hear me. "Oh, there you are." I felt her morning aura surround me as I cut up some fruits. "You smell wonderful." She nestled her head into my neck, "Like mint." She whispered, "Can you go get Mitsuki and Kaito ready for breakfast?" I turned around to face her, our lips only inches away from each other. "Yeah." She said, softy. I turned back around, blushing.

A few minutes later they came running down. "Thank you for breakfast Mommy!" Mitsuki and Kaito say with a bright smile."Thank you!" Chaeng says, taking a bite. "Mmm, this is so yummy." They chirp in agreement. I wrap my arms around her neck, "Is it really?" I say, my breath shallow, I kiss her cheek.

She turned her head around and made a face like she just realized something life changing, "Are you okay Chaengie?" I asked. "It's you! It's you Minari!" She quickly got out of her seat and crushed me in a hug, "Her posture was perfect, she looked composed and like an angel. And even though I didn't see her face, I had a sense that I knew her and that it felt right, everything here felt right. And whenever I was around her, time stopped...and that her was you." She said, placing her hand on my nape. Very slowly pulling me in, looking at her lips, I closed my eyes to feel that very same ecstasy that spewed from our lips after each touch.

"I love you Minari, I love you, I love you, I love you!" She spun me around. "I love you too Chaeng, but what is this about?" I asked her, confused on her sudden outburst of love. Don't get me wrong, I love it but I'm just puzzled.

She told us about her dreams, the one with the mysterious lady that seemed to be the one she was to be destined with. Her dreams predicted that our family would grow with the addition of Mitsuki and Kaito which was amazing.

"Wow! That's one crazy dream! Crazy in a good way though." Mitsuki said, scooping some fruit into her mouth. "Yeah, it definitely is." I took her hand. "But I'm glad that's it's you because I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else." She gently smiled.

Chaeyoung POV

The amount of happiness that I was feeling the moment I realized that the woman of my dreams was Mina was just out of this world. Even if that lady turned out to be someone else, I don't think I would be able to leave Minari's side.

After we finished breakfast, we decided to go shopping for the kids since they didn't have much stuff. "Mama?" Kaito reached his hand up, "Come here." I smiled, carrying him. "He kind of looks like you." Mina says, giving me a little nudge. "Really? Mitsuki kind of looks like you too." We looked at each other weirdly but then laughed, "No, that's impossible."

We got back home and settled everything in, fixing their rooms to their liking and having a little snack. We all sat on the sofa, tired from the long day we had, Kaito was cuddled up next to me while Mitsuki was leaning on Mina.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Mina and I gave each other an alarmed look. "Shoot, it's Satzu. What do we do?" I checked who it was. "Uh, I don't know, we could tell them we aren't home?" Mina suggested, "The lights on, plus if we were out, they would have joined us anyways."

"Kaito and I can go stay upstairs in our rooms until everything is sorted out." Mitsuki said, "No, stay!" Kaito grumbled. "No, it's alright, you two can stay here." Mina said, patting the sofa. The doorbell rang once again. "We could just tell them?" This was our last resort. "Okay, open it." She smiles, preparing for the unending scolding or groveling of Sana.

"Oh my goodness, finally you two decided to open the door, we didn't catch you two at a bad time right?" She smirked. "Oh." She said, realizing the two kids in our house. "Who are these cuties?" Sana crouched next to Kaito. "I'm Kaito!" He said in Japanese. "Nice to meet you Kaito, I'm Sana." She responded in the same language. "And you are?" Sana asked Mitsuki. "Mitsuki."

"So you two adopted these two kids." Sana confirmed as we tried to explain everything to her. "Uh yeah, that's basically it." Chaeyoung patted Kaito on the head. "That's...amazing!" Sana jumped up and down. "They're so cute!" She walked up to Mitsuki, "You can call me Auntie Sana, and that's Auntie Tzuyu over there!" She squeezed our daughter.

"Sup little dude." Tzuyu sat next to Kaito. He looked at her with confused eyes since all he knew was Japanese. "Ah, um こんにちは little dude?" She said in broken Japanese. He waved and pushed one of his toys towards her.

"They sure are getting along well with them." I sat next to Mina. "Yeah. It's only been one day but I feel like this is exactly how it's supposed to be, it just feels perfect." She leans her head on me. "It is perfect, but do you know what's even more perfect?" I ask her. "What is?" She watches our kids as they play, "You are." She looks up at me and there's this certain sparkle. She gives me a nudge and starts laughing, "Oh Chaeng, you always know how to make a girl smile."
