Steve McGarrett is still raising his teenage daughter Lissy in Oahu, Haw...
Lissy- I'm sitting at my desk in my room, looking at myself in the mirror. I just finished showering and started to do my makeup. As I looked at myself, I thought about what has happened in the past month.
Life has been different since last month. Ever since the hickey incident, I'm not allowed to go to any boy's house and if there are parties with boys. The parents have to be around. Not always watching us, but to make sure we aren't doing anything we shouldn't be doing.
In other news, my Dad started seeing a new girl named Becca. I actually think that I like this one. She is super nice and a sweet person. She doesn't try to intervene in any way. In a motherly way or someone who is trying to get rid of me. Which makes me like her even more than the other girls my Dad dated. Anyways we are going out to dinner tonight and meeting her parents. My Dad is a bit nervous about tonight. He's meet Becca parents before but hasn't introduced me to them vise versa
Knock knock
Lissy- "Come in"!
Dad- I opened the door and walked into her room. " Remember, we will be leaving in 20 minutes."
Lissy- "I know, Dad."
Dad- "No need for the attitude Lissy."
Lissy- "Sorry"
Dad- "We need to talk before we go," I said, sitting on her bed
Lissy- I rolled my eyes
Dad- I sent her a warning look
Lissy- "sorry," I mumbled
Dad- "As you know, you will be meeting Mr. and Mrs. Jones tonight, Beccas parents. This evening is very important to Becca and me. So please be on your best behavior. Don't be rude or disrespectful towards Becca's parents."
Lissy- "I know, Dad. You don't need to remind me."
Dad- "I just want you to know what I expect of you tonight."
Lissy- "Ok, Dad."
Dad- "Good because if anything happens results in you being rude or disrespectful to anyone, whether it's Becca's parents, Becca, or me. You and I will be having a talk afterward. Is that understood"?
Lissy- " Understood."
Dad- "Good. Now I'll leave you to finish getting ready." I said, getting up from her bed
Lissy- "Okay," I said
Dad- I kissed her forehead and then left her room.
Lissy- Once he left, I quickly finished getting ready. After I was done with my makeup, I went into my closet to find something nice to wear. After much deliberation, I decided on this blue and white dress. 👇 👇 👇 👇
