General POV:

"Soldat."

Bucky stops in his tracks, the familiar voice in his head echoing within the chaos of his mind. That voice... he shakes his head, trying to rid of it as he continues to make his way towards the blue chopper, but before he even gets in, the voice has him standing in front of the door to the pilot's seat, the grip he had his metal hand on the door causing it to dent up.

"That is not your mission."

"It is." Bucky growls, ripping the lock off of the chopper's door, hesitant and unsure of whether or not he should be responding to the voice after years of not hearing it as the Winter Soldier. He didn't know where she stood on his mission and he knew that'd it be safer to not respond to her but when he did, he'd do his very best to keep them short.

"Mission status."

Bucky keeps quiet, fighting the voice as he finally mounts the chopper, pressing and shifting all the right buttons and gear to finally make his escape. To complete his first objective. The voice comes in his head again, loud and clear despite the deafening sound the rotor blades made as they spun, the dust from the rooftop that seemed nonexistent was now flying off the ground with the wind coming from the blades.

"солдат, какова твоя миссия."

"Unclear Sirena."

Her first order retranslated in Russian had him responding without hesitation. It was a faulty part of the programming that the Winter Soldier would still respond to the Siren, overriding every other order . That was also included in his program. When he should be making orders to whatever partner or team was paired with, he was still programmed to follow, specifically to the woman whose own powers could only reach it's true potential when commanded and directed. That was her programming.

"Objective." (y/n) was standing alone outside the building, right by a riverbed, away from the fleeing civilians. She had a scarf covering the lower part of her face, ditching her jacket for just the black t-shirt to help her blend in with the crowd, her eyes glowing as she had fortunately made a connection with the Winter Soldier in her search for the evaluator. "Soldat, what is your objective." she asks, still firm but gentler this time.

"выход."

Escape... (y/n) looks up at the chopper that was peeking out of the building, eyes wide as she watches from below. Steve finally finds Bucky and rushes outside, sprinting off toward the slowly rising chopper, leaping off to grab the chopper's landing gear with both arms. Steve pulls hard and the chopper struggles to gain it's height with the interference. Bucky struggled against the voice commanding him to abandon mission and the blond preventing him from taking off. Steve's feet kick up for traction, soon enough he manages to get them flat on the helipad.

The chopper drags him onto the weak looking mesh framing around the helipad, but Steve grabs the railing with one hand and clings to the landing gear with the other, using it to his advantage. He grits his teeth, even his neck strains with incredible effort. Bucky glowers from inside the chopper, throwing the control stick to the left to try to try throw Steve off, the chopper's nose slamming into the edge of the helipad. The rotor blades are smashed into sharp pieces and Steve ducks to avoid the tail swinging at him. The chopper lies twisted on the mesh at the edge of the pad. Steve rises beside the canopy, looking back for Bucky when all of a sudden Bucky's arm smashes through the glass, growling as he grabs Steve's throat. The chopper starts to lift off the edge, the tail breaking off, falling into the river below. Bucky keeps hold of Steve as the whole vehicle drops and slams into the river. The impact seems to knock Bucky out cold and he lets go of Steve. The body of the chopper sinks quickly to the riverbed along with other debris. Steve surfaces with Bucky in his arms.
