What we did as cast members to deserve breaks that lasts as long as two days away from the studio is still a complete mystery to me. The rest of the crew got their breaks and very much deserve one like this and we would honestly be better off doing more important things instead of running around loose like three-year-olds on a sugar rush.
Joe and Anthony could barely round us up in one spot, and trust me, we were one heck of a crowd, especially with the cast just getting bigger every time we finished off a scene. The announcement was sudden and very surprising over a very healthy dinner after one of the simpler scenes we had done over at the Porsche center, and I definitely knew something was up, but that didn't stop me and the gang to rent out hotel rooms and just have a relaxing day in.
We told our managers, the crew, and of course, the Russos so they knew where we'd be and also so we wouldn't risk getting spotted despite our amazing disguises. Downey had to pass up since he was on a more critical radar in being spotted by the pap so it was just me, Mackie, Seb, (y/n), Scarlett, and Lizzie. While (y/n) and Mackie were in charge of checking us into four rooms, just to avoid suspicion too, me, Seb, Scarlett, and Lizzie snuck off to the elevators.
And it's been a great first day off. We literally just spent the entire time sleeping and being actual people without having to worry about the public eye, only going outside for three normal meals together and to the sports bar on the ground floor of the hotel. Lizzie, Mackie, and Scarlett stayed in separate, neighboring rooms while I shared one family room with (y/n) and Seb.
Just watching each other fall asleep and just talking in bed, just sprawled there doing absolutely nothing. Either one of us just getting up to use the bathroom or to get food with Mackie or Lizzie.
I could practically live in that hotel room, just me, Seb, and (y/n) and some food. I hated being away from my family back in Massa, don't get me wrong, nothing beats the comforts of a childhood home, the normalcy I barely get to feel anymore, but when you're lucky to have not just one, but two people you love so much, to be with you, while you worked away from the one thing you thought could make you stay sane with a job that brings so much anxiety, anywhere is pretty much home.
It's a new morning and unfortunately our last day of relaxation will end in the next... 25 hours. And I really didn't want to get up from the comfortable position my body shifted myself into the night before. I was on the left side of the bed on my stomach, forearms tucked into the cold, soft, white pillow, my head facing the right where I could see (y/n) snuggling into Sebastian's bare chest, her hands relaxed in the space between them, curled up into a ball that Sebastian had moved in closer to me. There was a soft beam of sunlight slipping through the coffee brown ceiling-to-floor curtains, lighting a ray over the mess of white sheets.
Even with the bunched up sheets I could still see the outlines of their bodies. I twisted myself to lay on my left shoulder, moving in close to (y/n) and pressing a kiss on her bare shoulder, pulling her cami strap back up high on her shoulder, my other hand smoothing it's way to her hips, right by Sebastian's arm underneath the sheets. She hums softly, slowly stirring at the touch, twisting her head to slowly to move into me. I shift lower on the bed so I can push my chin on her shoulder.
Her right hand rises from underneath the sheets and reaches back to gently caresses my face, tiredly rubbing her thumb on my jaw. I tilt my head and press a kiss onto her palm, causing her to let a hoarse giggle. "I can't believe I'm admitting this... but I miss your beard..."
