A couple weeks has gone by, and surprisingly still no call.

I'm honestly worried. I haven't gotten a call from the agency or a message at least. But Seb seemed... fine. Well, I know he wouldn't be so bummed out, but catching on to the words 'you're gonna be so proud' made me think that it must be a really important role if it's something I could get proud of. Not that I'm not always proud with the roles he gets, but you guys know what I mean. I knew he's as excited as I am for that phone call, but I know he's not... thoroughly... fine since it's been a whole couple weeks since the audition.

Surely, it's going to take some time for the casting and decision making, it was an understandable course of action but of course, the anticipation would get to you.

He was currently in the kitchen cutting some fruits so we could withstand the summer heat. I was on the phone, FaceTiming with Mom in the living room. Mom loved Sebastian as much as I did, so when I told her the news about the agency not calling yet and me getting a tad bit worried, let's just say she got upset and started speaking her native tongue, some of which I didn't really understand all that well since she never really taught it to me.

She was fussing around as she wrote on these paper piles on her desk for the third time today. I sighed loudly as she started cursing the agency in her native language. Again.

"Mom, calm down. Sebby seems fine with it. Besides, it's only been a few weeks since the audition." I coax her, more like coax my own nerves. She looks up from her paper works and frowns. "I'm sure they'll call. They must be... looking at their other options."

"He's been practicing this for months, trying to perfect it. Who wouldn't pick Sebastian?"

I sighed softly. Being bullied in school a lot gave us a pair of overprotective mama bears. Not that we're not glad for their protective nature, it's just that... sometimes it could get... a little bit out of hand. "Mom, I know." I say, tugging around my sweater paws. "Like I said, there might be other options..?"

"But, come on, honey, Sebastian has worked hard and practiced for that role to not get it!" she exclaimed, handing over a folder to a passing nurse. Suppose that she knows the role, why else would she get this riled up?

Before I could ask Mom about it, Sebastian comes in and hands me a sandwich. A sweet smile translates a grateful thank you as he takes my phone from me so I could eat my sandwich. He tilts my phone to the side so we're both seen in the screen, putting on his best smile.

"Hey (m/n), how're you?" Sebastian greets.

The first time I actually brought Sebastian home with Mom there, his mom, Georgetta, and mine had became the best of friends. Even before I had brought him home for introductions! Mom shouldn't even be working now but she insists that she does. It's her passion to help people. My mom is a single mom and Georgetta sorta was one too, sooooo basically they decided on helping each other, thus being really good friends.

"I'm doing wonderful honey, I heard about the audition!" she says, her (h/c) hair falling out of her bun. She sighs, retying it into a low ponytail. "I should be getting a haircut. What do you guys think?"

I smile and peek out from behind Sebastian's massive shoulders. "Mom, that would be amazing."

"But I like your hair long." Sebastian whined, taking a bite out of his sandwich. Mom just chuckles in response. She's probably in favor of her sudden idea.

"We'll see. It's two against one, I'll call your mom and see how she reacts." she smiles genuinely before she's suddenly called by one of the roaming male nurses. "Welp. I gotta go. Duty calls." she says, standing up with a clipboard she's been writing on earlier. I smile and nod my head.
