(y/n)'s POV:
'Once Upon A Time' was a success. I am so proud of it, for both me, Seb, the whole cast! We even got a special mention in an ABC commercial, saying farewell to our characters and all. It was sort of hard to leave the OUAT fam, but hey, we all keep in touch.
The director is even reconsidering bringing back both Alice and Jefferson, but they're just planning it, so I wouldn't really get my hopes up.
Sebastian and Jennifer had a little... well, the press misunderstood their relationship after catching photos of them together during the awarding ceremonies. Me and Sebastian had to spend a whole week clearing it out and giving statements to news anchors and social media, demanding to take down some obviously edited pictures and untrue statements said by both 'Sebastian and Jennifer' of the said 'relationship'.
Of course, we did calls through the phone and I had to do accent switches, going under a fake name and talking with Seb's manager. It all died down quickly, but me myself wasn't spared from the gossip and rumors with my own role in OUAT, especially after they released the gag reels and bloopers.
Specifically where Seb was supposed to peck my nose and we ended up laughing.
There was some hate, but Seb says I've got fans here and there, excited to see me in more upcoming roles. It felt weird and actually really heartwarming to know that some people look up at me, that the thought was enough to distract me from the hate comments and rumors. I still keep in touch with Mella, who I call every once in a while to check up on how she and the rest of the cast are doing. We were starting to really become close these days, and I'm glad to have her as a friend.
I was currently out for lunch with Mella, Lana, and Jennifer at some restaurant Lana had suggested for us to eat at. She was the one who arranged the whole thing, obviously, and since it was her car, it was her call, literally phoning me at five in the morning saying she was in LA with Jennifer and Mella, wanting to see me for lunch before flying back to their respective hometowns.
"Thank god that whole me and Sebastian Stan fiasco is over!" Jennifer groaned, head thrown back into her chair, making us laugh at her childishness. She pulls her head up and reaches for my hand. "I never got to thank you (y/n). I didn't realize it would be such an issue and then you got mixed up in it."
When I told them I was originally Sebastian's PA, they wouldn't believe me. But after Jennifer asked for the number to Sebastian's PA from the crew, she noticed it was mine, then asked to look through the list. That's when she finally believed me, we both ended up laughing for hours during the call and I had to tell her the whole story. I gave Jennifer my best smile. "Hey, what are friends for?"
"Ooh, I gotta ask you this though," Lana sips on her straw quickly, putting down her tall lemonade glass on the table, leaning forward with the most motherly grin on her face, the one you'd see when Regina talks to Henry. "How are you taking the press? Being newly recognized and all, especially after being paired up with Sebastian. It must be overwhelming for you."
The girls around the table nod in agreement, moving close to me as I blush slightly, my hand picking at the skin of my bottom lip out of habit in result to my nervousness. "Oh, uh, Chris and Seb have told me to avoid social media for now and just... do my thing." I shrugged my shoulders. I bite my lip in thought and worry. This whole celebrity thing was pretty new to me, despite having to deal with it behind Sebastian. I never knew it got this overwhelming. I just want to be that good kind of actress, the genuinely nice one, but nobody's perfect. "Ya know, I just hope I did do a good job on it. Ever since the bloopers and gag reel came out, I felt like running to the bathroom in thought of what the public would think, it felt like a million spiders crawling up my throat, pushing to get out." I shivered at the thought, picking up a glass of my own (fav/cold beverage), trying to wash down the feeling, not before doing crawly motions with my fingers to emphasize the thought.
