Y/n's pov :

a week after me and Tom completed the mating process , we found out i was pregnant . ever since that day , Tom had been on edge . he was cranky and always snapping at the littlest things .

he would always check up on me , growl at every male that merely looked my way , mated or unmated . he made sure i was in his view at all times . it's not like i didn't like the attention from my mate but for fuck's sake i'm an adult bearing a child not a fragile piece of furniture .

i'm now two weeks pregnant and me and Tom had finally decided to announce the news to the pack .

Tom's pov :

today is the day me and Y/n finally told the pack she was pregnant .

everyone was gathered at the outdoor stage . i walked up onto the stage but no one seemed to notice .

"silence" i said .

everyone kept talking .

"silence" i said a little louder and no one heard . i snapped .

"silence !" i roared . everyone flinched and finally kept quiet , turning their attention to me .

Y/n's pov :

"silence !" he roared . i sighed and stepped onto the stage .

i massaged his shoulders and he immediately relaxed at my touch .

"alright handsome take a chill pill" i said kissing his cheek . "i'll tell them" i continued .

he grumbled and stepped back .

"tell us what Luna ?" someone asked . i smiled and opened my mouth to speak .

"as you all know your Alpha has been very grumpy lately-"

"hey !" he cut me off causing me to chuckle .

"he has been snapping at the tiniest mistakes made yes ?" i asked and the pack nodded .

"well that is because , i'm bearing his child" i smiled .

there were a few gasps before an applaud broke out . Tom then hugged me from behind and placed his chin on my shoulder . i smiled to myself before placing my hands on his and turning my head to kiss his cheek .

"i'm sure many of you know how protective a male can be when their mate is pregnant , especially alphas" i said and the parents nodded .

"so please do not think badly of your alpha , he's just ensuring mine and our child's safety" i said and everyone nodded before clapping again .

"thank you for your kind attention , you are all dismissed" i said and dragged Tom off the stage to our house .

"i have not been grumpy" he mumbled when we got to the house .

i laughed . "you wanna ask the pack love ?" i chuckled .

he turned red from embarrassment and buried his head into the crook of my neck , hugging me tight enough not to harm the baby .

"it's alright love , everyone understands" i cooed , playing with his hair .

"i love you" he kissed my cheek .

i smiled . "i love you too ."
