Y/n's pov :

i was walking back to my dorm , exhausted from classes when i saw Bellatrix flirting with Tom . were we dating ? of course not ! i just had major feelings for Tom since 3rd year ... but that's not the point !
i walked over to Bellatrix and Tom .

"Tom can i speak to you for a second ?" i said through gritted teeth , trying to sound polite and putting on the fakest smile ever .

"sure" he shrugged and i dragged him as far away from Bellatrix as possible .

"what was that ?" i asked , crossing my arms over my chest and tapping my foot on the floor impatiently .

"what ?" he asked .

"why did you let Bellatrix flirt with you ?" i snapped .

he shrugged . "i thought you said you hated Bellatrix ? so why do you still tolerate her" i sighed .

"i don't know and why do you care ? it's not like we're dating" he scoffed .

you felt hurt than angry cause he couldn't catch the very obvious signs you were throwing at his face .

"for fuck's sake Tom Marvolo Riddle ! are you that oblivious ?! i've made it very clear i've liked you since third year and that's why i get jealous everytime i see a girl flirting with you and you don't do anything about it !" i snapped before slapping my mouth realising what i just said .

i sighed knowing i couldn't get out of this . "look it's fine if you don't like me that i just-" i was cut off by him smashing his lips into mine .

i was shocked for a second , my eyes widening in shock but immediately closing as i kissed back . he then pushed me against a wall before it turned into a full on make out session .

a minute later , we pulled away cause we needed to breathe . stupid . i was panting and looking at the ground when Tom lifted my chin up to meet his gaze .

"i'm so sorry i didn't notice the signs you were throwing at me" he apologised .

i was still panting and he put his hand on my face and pulled me in , his free arm snaking around my waist before kissing me .

he pulled away and stroked my cheek . "darling , from now on i'm yours . and i promise to never let another girl flirt with me ever again" he said .

"i love you" i blurted out .

he smiled . "i love you too ."

Tom's pov :

the next day me and Y/n were walking together as always when i saw Bellatrix running up to me . i smirked and pulled Y/n in .

"Tom what are you-" i kissed her right there in front of everybody including Bellatrix .

everyone cheered and i pulled away . Y/n was blushing so much she looked like a tomato . i smiled and kissed her cheek . she buried her face into my chest .

"that was embarrassing idiot !" she mumbled .

"but you enjoyed it didn't you ?" i whispered huskily into her ear .

she stayed quiet before finally saying "shut up ."

i looked at Bellatrix and she looked ready to kill someone . i smirked again before escorting my lovely girlfriend to class .
