A little male fish is now seen swimming up to a silverfish as if it were lost.
"Hey uh, I'm trying to look for this thing they call the ocean." He explains. The silverfish looked down at him in confusion.
"The ocean? This IS the ocean!" He tells him. The little male fish looks around and then looks back up at the silverfish.
"This? This is WATER. What I WANT is the OCEAN." Marlin and the others are now seen swimming past them.
"Alright, so we're close to Florida. Now what?" Spike asked, looking over to Marlin. Even though Marlin tried keeping everything under pressure, he didn't exactly HAVE an idea. He really didn't think this far into it yet.
"Well uh... we find the boat Sebrina was on and take her home! Simple!" He told them. As he turned around though, he noticed that someone was missing.
"Wait... where's Dory?" Marlin asked.
"HEY! HEY! Guys! You have to see this!" Dory shouted from afar as they all turned to her.
"Oh brother, not this again..." Gurgle muttered.
"Is it bubbles?" Bubbles asked.
"Even better!" Dory answered as she swam to the surface. The others followed her in confusion and interest.
"I hope this is better than last time. She took us to see a shell." Spike muttered under his breath. As soon as they went to the surface, all their expressions changed from mere confusion to complete awe and horror.
"AAH! IT'S ANOTHER WHALE!!" Marlin shouted in panic as they all watched a whale's tail crash on the surface.
"Awesome!" Nemo cheered delightfully.
"GREAT idea, Dory! Maybe we can ask for help!" Jake said, looking at Dory. Marlin turned to him.
"Jake, the LAST time we asked a whale for help, we both almost ended up being DINNER-" Marlin explained to them.
"But she helped you in the end, right?" Nemo gave Marlin another one of his 'Just go with it' smirks as Marlin groaned in annoyance. They all watched as the whale came up and did a little spin in the air.
"A little showy if you ask me." Gill said.
"and a little dangerous! She's getting closer with each jump!" Marlin finished as the waves rashed into their faces.
"I can talk to whales, silly. Sheesh, I've mentioned it enough times, you'd think you could remember that." Dory told Marlin with a smile and then looked at the whale.
"Watch and learn, buddy." Dory said to Jake before turning back around to the whale, who just jumped up again.
"ExcUUUUUUse MEEEEeeeee!!" Dory flailed her fins around as Marlin and the other adults winced by how loud she was.
"Sounds more like a sick ghost." Peach muttered as she continued.
"WeeeEEEEEE nneeed YOOuuuuRR HEeEeElPPP!!" Dory shouted again but the whale seemed to not listen as she continued flipping around, getting closer in the process.
"That's strange." Dory muttered. Nemo looked at her.
"What is?" He asked. The whale then dived up again, this time right above them.
"She doesn't seem to be listening." Dory continued, not at all worried about the whale being directly above her.
"Or stopping! Look out!" Jake then grabbed Dory as they all swam back down into the water. the whale landed with a loud BADOOSH as everyone began spinning around with the current. Once the current stopped spinning them around, everyone tried keeping it together as they all got dizzy.
"Oooohh...where's Flo when I need her?" Deb asked, spinning in circles. Jake tried holding himself in place.
"Which way is up...?" He dizzily asked. Bloat covered his mouth.
"If I'd eaten lunch, I'd be losing it right now." He muttered in a sick tone. As they all got back in place, Marlin looked at Dory as she looked at him upside down with a smile.
"I should know by now, Dory plus whale equals disaster." He said. They all then began to continue voyaging as Dory thought.
"That is so strange. Isn't that strange? Why couldn't she understand me?" She asked herself as Gill looked back at her.
"Understand you? You're lucky she didn't CRUSH you!" He told her. As no one else was looking, Dory zipped back around and began swimming back up to where the whale was minding her own business.
"There must be a reason." She determinedly told herself. Dory swam up to where the whale was and tried getting her attention.
"YOO HOO! HeeeeLLOOOOoo? CaAaAAAN yoouUUU hEEAARRR MEEEeeE?" Dory asked in whale. She then swam up to the whale's eye to get her attention.
"AAAAANYYYYBooooDYYYy hooOOMMME?" She tried again but still to no avail as the whale kept minding her own business like nothing was going on. Dory swam around in circles in thought.
"Nothing. What is with this whale?" She asked herself again. A voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts as Dory looked up to see a bottlenose dolphin underneath the whale.
"She can't hear you, you know. She's deaf." He said. Dory swam up to him in wonder.
"What?" She asked.
"Her name's Edie and apparently she was too close when an underwater explosion went off and now she can't hear anything." He explained to Dory, who felt bad.
"Aw, that's so sad!" She pouted. The bottlenose dolphin shrugged and smiled.
"Ah, Edie gets by fine because she knows sign language." He said.
"Sign language?" Dory looked at him in confusion. The bottlenose dolphin nodded in response.
"Yeah, try it!" He told her. He then flipped to his side and waved his fin,
"Just turn on one side and wiggle your fin. That means 'Hello'!" He then turned back on his front and watched Dory swim in front of the whale.
"Okay..." She said, wanting to see if it worked. She did exactly what the bottlenose dolphin told her to do and it worked as the whale looked at her and stopped. Edie then suddenly did the same thing Dory did with a smile, meaning she understood her.
"She heard me- I mean, she saw me! We talked!" Dory cheered. She then spun in circles delightfully.
"Show me more! Show me more!" She shouted happily, completely forgetting that they still needed help. Edie then dipped down with her head down and her tail pointing up meaning 'How are you?'. Dory smiled and did the same thing. Edie smiled again and flipped her tail up to her head meaning 'I'm good'. Dory then did the same thing as she chuckled. Edie then suddenly did another pose with her tail waving in different directions and her fins in a bowing-like manner. Dory tried doing the same thing but couldn't get it right as she shook left and right, trying to do the pose correctly.
"Hold on...th-this is harder than it looks..." She muttered. The bottlenose dolphin laughed delightfully as Dory continued spinning around.
"You just said 'Your head looks like trash'." He smiled as he knew she was trying and so did the whale.

Meanwhile, Marlin and the others were still swimming around, trying to look for help when Jake suddenly stopped and looked around.
"Wait. Where'd Dory go?" He asked them. Dory then suddenly popped out of nowhere and scared the lives out of all of them.
"HEY, GUYS!!" She shouted.
"Dory, where'd you go??" Gill asked her as he looked towards her. Dory smiled in response.
"I just learned a whole new language! From a whale!" She answered as Marlin sighed in annoyance.
"Oh great, more moaning and groaning. It's my lucky day..." He muttered to himself. Dory shook her head, telling Marlin he was wrong.
"No, it's like this!" Dory spun around, waved her fins in circular motions, and shook her tail around as everyone watched in complete confusion about what Dory was doing.
"That means, 'Meet my new friend, Edie'!" Everyone saw a ginormous shadow loom over them as all their faces practically turned white except Nemo, who looked at Edie in amazement.
"I can't feel my face..." Gurgle muttered in fear as Edie waved to them all.
"Edie and I talk with sign language! It's completely silent! She said she'd help us out!" Dory explained to everyone which gave Marlin complete and total relief as he smiled.
"Silent? It IS my lucky day!" He chuckled.
"So, Edie will help us find Sebrina then?" Nemo asked. Dory nodded as everyone cheered. Dory then turned around to Edie and flipped her tail up and down and then waved.
"What'd she say?" Jake asked her, intrigued. Edie suddenly placed everyone on the back of her tail.
"It means 'Happy trails'!" Dory smiled delightfully.
"Oh, dear..." Bloat muttered. They were all suddenly launched into the air and sent flying as they all headed towards land, screaming in the process. Then they all landed in the water again, this time close to a beach, where kids were enjoying the sunny day in.
"Guys! This is it! Orlando!" Marlin shouted happily as everyone cheered. Dory then saw a sign.
"Correction. We're in Miami!" She smiled, pointing to the large sign saying 'Welcome to Miami!'. Everyone groaned in annoyance.
