(This chapter mostly explains Whiskers and his backstory...and it also includes everyone's favorite reunion)

"You need help? Sure. We can help ya."

We now see Scott traveling with Marlin and the others as he begins to lead them to what looked like a beach a couple of miles away. They're all currently discussing their adventures rescuing Nemo, finding Dory's parents, and rescuing Marlin. Scott doesn't seem too surprised, as if he had already known them.
"Oh yeah, we've heard about you guys. A group of dolphins told us all about it! Outsmarting sharks, jumping jellyfish, defeating a large monster with huge teeth! You guys are pretty much famous around these parts." Scott explained to them. Spike laughed.
"That's a first for me." He mumbles to himself aloud.
"So, you sure you know how to get to Orlando?" Marlin asked, just to double-check and make sure they weren't going the wrong way.
"Of course! I go by there to scare kids all the time!" He says with a large toothy grin. Jake started looking around in wonder.
"Hey, where'd Allan go?" He asked, not seeing Allan with them. Marlin made a small smile until Allan popped up behind them.
"I'm here guys! Don't worry!" He shouted as Marlin groaned.
"There you are, Allan. I thought we lost you there for a second." Dory said with another smile. Jake rolled his eyes.
"It's a shame she didn't forget he dragged himself with us." Jake muttered to Gill with an annoyed look. Gill agreed with him.
"Oh, and I also heard recently that you guys took on an orca whale! You guys really are something el-" Marlin suddenly interrupted him in realization of what he just said.
"An orca whale? Since when did we do that?" He asked in wonder. Dory swam up in-between them.
"Hey, I can speak whale!" She told them. Scott looked at Marlin in confusion.
"The orca whale. The one that nearly destroyed the whole aquarium? That wasn't you guys?" He asked with a look of mere confusion. Marlin thought of the only other person who would be able to do something like that. He looked at Nemo and Nemo was thinking the same thing.
"So, she IS here then." Nemo said to him. She must've run into him on her search for her parents. She might still be there now! Marlin turned back to Scott with more hope in his eyes.
"Do you happen to know any way we can get inside the aquarium? Our friend might still be in there." He explained to Scott. Scott thought for a moment.
"Mmmmmmm no, but I DO know someone that's lived in Orlando her whole life! You can probably ask her if she's not in a grumpy mood. The only problem is, she and her group of buddies don't do that kind of stuff naturally. You might have to do something for them in return and sometimes, they're not easy tasks...considering the fact that...

...they're dogs."

Whiskers is now seen worriedly looking around the sidewalks, trying to find Hen and the others. He didn't seem to be fast enough to catch up with the dang bird and now he was pretty much lost. He was just hoping and praying that nothing was gonna try to eat him while he was alone. He quickly passed by a small crowd of people, trying not to overreact like last time when he ran into the female hound and her goons. He was okay with the small number of people around him but Whiskers was just scared of LITERALLY EVERYTHING.

He hated the dark

He hated the light

He hated hights

He hated depths

He hated large crowds

He hated intimacy

He hated desolation

He hated water

He hated cats

He hated enclosed spaces

He hated wide open spaces

He hated spiders

He hated the sudden and concerning lack of spiders

and he ESPECIALLY hated dogs.

It wasn't like he hated them like enemies though...he was scared of them. He suddenly heard someone passing by watching a video with no headphones and the one voice suddenly made Whiskers go into flash memory.

'Do you ever dream of being something amazing when you're older?'

Whiskers suddenly found himself in the past, when he was just a kitten, standing in front of a TV, which was playing something where police officers were chasing down a criminal. Suddenly, the police took out a group of dogs and the dogs started chasing them down. Once they caught the criminal, the dog was awarded treats, medals, some pats on the head, and a few more other things, which caused young Whiskers to be inspired as he smiled brightly.

He wanted to be a police cat...

A few years later in the past, Whiskers is seen standing inside a police station, looking around at the other huge and extremely ferocious dogs, including the three goons.
The three goons would start to make fun of him for being a cat and because of that, Whiskers got angry and started attacking the three of them. The police noticed this and managed to kick Whiskers and the other three dogs out, telling them not to come back.

And they didn't. Whiskers never bothered to go back after that day. It was their fault. Whiskers didn't even get a chance to do the thing he wanted to do the most. Ever since then, if he even thought about trying to make a dream come true, he dug it all away.

he knew he couldn't do anything right because...

he was too afraid...

Whiskers' memories suddenly stopped when he blinked his eyes rapidly and found that he had mistakingly walked into an abandoned alleyway, which caused him to slightly panic. He suddenly heard a voice and continued panicking when he found out who was talking to him.

"Curiosity killed the cat..." The female dog from earlier snickered. Suddenly, she leaped off a railing and ended up in front of him as Whiskers tried to stand his ground.
"W-what do you want now, Addie?" He asked, again trying to be brave, even though he knew he couldn't. Addie never got the police job opportunity either, which was why Whiskers was still on her bad side. They both would blame each other often. Considering the fact that Whiskers was adopted but Addie was not didn't help the case either. Addie and her other dog friends were never adopted but did they care?

No.

They just wanted to harass Whiskers for the rest of his life now.

"Awww, you trying to be brave this time? It's not gonna work, Whiskers. I ain't puttin' you off my bad side. That job was supposed to be mine and you know it!" She shouted at him.
"W-well now, it's n-none of ours. Just l-leave me alone...please..." He tried but then started backing away, which was a mistake.
"You see Whiskers. Stop trying to hide what you really are. No matter how hard you try, you'll always be the same ol', scaredy-cat you grew up to be!" As she continued speaking, more dogs came into view, surrounding Whiskers as he started to panic even more.
"Best you can do is run...while you still have legs..."

And he did.

Whiskers ran like his life depended on it. The other dogs took notice of this and began chasing after him.
"Don't let him get away! That kitty is MINE!" Addie barked aloud. Suddenly, the other two crazy dogs from earlier came running up beside her.
"Hey Addie, wanna see this mouse I found? Hehe, it's dead!" One of them said delightfully as it carried what looked like a small, grey mouse that was playing dead in its mouth. Addie rolled her eyes. Whiskers then leaped over a large group of buckets and saw that he was making it towards the beach.
"Stop him, fellas! He's gonna corner himself!" Addie signaled and the other dogs started running faster, knocking down the buckets and causing some workers to yell at them for it. Addie nearly got run over by a honking, silver car as she zoomed across the road. Whiskers again leaped over a metal fence and the other dogs followed pursuit.
