"LIFE is full of tough choices... some we grow to regret, some we are haunted by forever, and some we're proud to claim. But each one forms who we are as a person. We have to take responsibility for the choices we make for we cannot escape the consequences...."

"Everything in our life is a reflection of the choices we make and sometimes it's the smallest of choices that can change your life forever. While sometimes doing nothing is one of the best choices we make..."

"Sometimes one of the most courageous choices you'll ever make is to let go of something you love because it's what's best and is the greatest power you can have. These are what we call sacrifices..."

"Sacrifices... they're just a way of life. There's no avoiding them. Some are big and some are small. Sometimes it's with sacrifice that we become our best selves and realize things that we need to learn. We grow that way..."

"Growth is necessary to develop as people and it can be uncomfortable. But these are the best opportunities to grow. We cannot become who we hope to be simply by sitting by and doing nothing. Change is inevitable but growing as a person... that is a choice..."

"One way we can grow it through failure. It is with my own many failures that I've grown as a person. Mistakes can humble you and they have the power to turn you into someone better than you were before. The greatest mistake one can make is being afraid to make one. Learning this can make you powerful..."

"Do you know what else gives you power? Family. At the end of the day, all you have in this world is family." Klaus explained to a small child sitting on the grass in front of him as he helped the child pick at the wildflowers in the field. "I need you to promise to always rely on your family. Even when it seems best to be on your own. When we have each other, we have everything."

"I promise, daddy." The small boy vowed with a big, cheeky grin, his two front teeth missing and his dimples peeking out from behind his cheeks.

"Good." Klaus praised affectionately and tousled his dark brown hair.

"Boys, dinner!" Ingrid's voice called out into the distance from behind them.

Klaus turned to see her standing on the porch about an acre away. "Coming, love!" He called back out to her then scooped up the child with an over dramatic groan. "Ugh! You're getting heavy." He joked with a small laugh. "You're going to have to start carrying me."

"You're too heavy. I can't do that." The boy whined and kicked his legs causing Klaus to laugh again. "I love you, daddy."

"I love you, Elijah." The hybrid affectionate expressed and kissed him on the top of his head. "Now let's get you home before mama comes after us." He whispered loudly and watched Ingrid make an unimpressed face then chuckled to himself and sighed heavily in bliss.

The End.
