INGRID was cleaning up the disaster she had created with tears rolling down her cheeks and happened to come across some of Klaus' art. Picking one up, she stared at the pictures Klaus had drawn of her and traced the lines his talented hands had created and choked out a sob. She set the picture down with the others before knocking the rest of them off the table in a fit of rage while screaming at the top of her lungs in heartbreak and grief.

The hybrid wiped her tears and quickly sobered up after sensing a presence behind her. "What can I help you with, Damon?" She questioned but didn't turn to face him. "I must warn you, this may not be the best time."

"You killed Elena." He sneered at her, enraged, and walked further into the room.

"I needed a life insurance policy against the lot of you." She answered dully and glanced at him from over her shoulder.

Damon rushed at her with the indestructible white oak stake but she grabbed his wrist and prevented him from killing her. She pushed him against a dresser and he dropped the stake on the ground. Ingrid narrowed her dark eyes and picked up the stake with a condescending grin. "Hmmm.. Thank you." She expressed in genuine gratitude then took a step back from him.

Suddenly, someone started firing wooden bullets through the window. Ingrid turned grabbed Damon by his jacket and sped him around so he was standing in front of her with back to the shooters, using him as a shield, and he was shot repeatedly. Rebekah made the mistake of walking into the room at that particular moment and was shot through the heart with a wooden bullet causing her to fall to the ground, temporarily dead. Ingrid grabbed ahold of Damon by the shirt collar and sped them both out of the house.

When they got to the boarding house, she let go of the Salvatore and Damon collapsed to the floor with a painful groan. He gasped loudly and glanced up at the Original in desperation. "Ingrid! I need you to get the bullets out."

"Alright." She mused dully then crouched down next to him and rolled up her sleeves. "However, I need something from you first."

"What?" He snapped in aggravation and discomfort.

She dug her fingers into one of the bullet holes and twisted the bullet causing him to shriek out in pain. "You, your friends, your brother, you will all leave me alone." When she noticed he was about to reject, she dug her fingers deeper into his flesh.

"Fine, fine! Fine!" He yelled in agony, giving into her one simple demand.

"Good." She praised with the smallest of smiles then harshly pulled the bullet out from his back. "Fair warning, this will hurt."

He groaned while panting heavily for breath. "Yeah, thanks." He replied sarcastically causing her to laugh lightly in amusement and yank another wooden bullet out.

Across town a black van was being escorted by two police cars with one in front and one in back. Inside the van, Rebekah woke up, groggily as Caroline sat beside her, watching. Rebekah struggled to get out of the ropes tying her down.

Suddenly, the wheels of the van started to screech and the vehicle flipped over onto its side. Inside, Caroline and Rebekah were sent flying and although they were fine, they were in shock.

Outside of the van, one of the police cars had been completely destroyed and another silver SUV was seen with its front end smashed in. The other police car that was escorting the van whipped around and started to drive back toward the van. Meanwhile, Tyler Lockwood broke off the back door of the van and went inside to rescue Caroline, who gaped up at him in shock and disbelief. "Tyler?"
