Y/n Pov:

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" The man spoke quitely, as to not attract the attention of his friends. I stayed silent, not quite sure what to say. He must not recognize me or else he would have alerted the others by now.

"I can always shout for my friends, if you don't want to answer," He added on with a light chuckle.

"No no no-" You rapidly replied. "I'm Y/n, and I'm not looking for any trouble. I'm just passing through on my way to visit my brother," I lied. I knew I couldn't tell him I was from L'Manburg, or else I probably wouldn't make it out of the forest alive.

He nodded and finally stood up, removing himself from his position on top of me. Before I could get up, he kicked my sword further away from me in order to make sure I wouldn't try anything. I began to sit up and looked towards him as he stretched his hand out for me to take.

I accepted his hand gratefully, and he helped pull me up to my feet. I stumbled lightly as I was quickly brought to my feet, glancing in the direction of my sword.

"Oh, how rude of me. I'm-" The raven haired boy began to say before getting immediately cut off by another voice coming this way.

"Sapnap! Have you found anything?" The voice you determined to belong to Dream called out. I saw Sapnap's green eyes flick towards my fearful expression as he responded.

"There's no one here, Dream! It must have been a deer or some other animal," He called back, looking at me with a light smile.

"Thank you," I whispered quietly. Sapnap nodded his head briefly before taking off into the forest back in the direction of his friends. I grabbed my sword, sliding it back into the scabbard and hurrying back towards L'Manburg

Sapnap Pov:

I jogged back over to where Dream was waiting with George, the taller man having his arm over the shorter's shoulders. I could see George's face was all red as I slowed my pace, getting closer to them.

"What were you two doing? Making out over here?" I asked with a smirk before breaking out into laughter. I could see that Dream's mask had been lifted slightly above his nose, and watched as George's face turned a deeper red at my comment.

"No! Of course we weren't," George defended, while Dream laughed beside him. I could see a tinge of a rosy blush on Dream's face just below the mask.

"Of course we were," Dream chuckled softly as he leaned down and planted a kiss on George's cheek. The blond man pulled his mask back down as he laughed at how flustered George had become.

"Lets just get this patrol done with," George said, clearly embarrassed. I just shrugged my shoulders, and watched as Dream took George's hand. The two of them led the way back towards the main part of the Dream SMP, while I followed behind them almost like a lost puppy.

I couldn't help but always feel like the third wheel of the group ever since Dream and George started dating a few months ago. It wasn't too bad when Punz was around, but he stayed back to watch after the base while we patrolled. I found my thoughts drifting back to the mysterious person I had run into not long before.

'They seemed to be nice, and kinda pretty too,' I thought to myself before lightly shaking the thoughts away. 'They said they were just passing through to find family, it's unlikely I'll ever see then again,' I found myself disappointed even at the thought of it.

'Maybe they'll come back through soon, possibly on their way home. They said they were just going for a visit after all,' I managed to convince myself, wishing I wasn't giving myself false hope. I pushed the thoughts from my mind as we neared our base.

Y/n Pov:

I moved gingerly through the forest back in the direction of L'Manburg. I could see the light beginning to filter through the leaves of the trees, landing on the forest floor as the sun began to rise. I picked up my pace, assuming the Dream Team was long gone by now, probably just now getting back to their base.

I had climbed a tree after Sapnap left, staying there for a while to make sure they had gone before climbing down. However, I couldn't help but stay on high alert the whole journey back. I wasn't too far, but ended up stopping and hiding for a bit from every little noise I heard.

Eventually, the walls came into sight and I could see the gates that served as the entrance and exit to the country. I picked up my pace as the sun slowly rose slightly higher into the sky.

I opened the gates and slipped inside shutting them behind me. I turned around and felt my expression of relief drop into knowing I was in serious trouble.

Standing behind me, leaning against the side of the camarvan was Wilbur. And he looked anxious for a moment before his expression turned into a look of anger.

'Oh shit, he looks pissed,' was the only thought that ran through my head.
