Tommy Pov:

When I saw Sapnap show up after a long time of watching Y/n, I could feel my face twist up in disgust. I was hoping they would do the right thing and fight off that bitch, but found my gaze turning into a glare as the two hugged.

I had secretly hoped all along that I was just being paranoid, that Y/n wasn't actually a traitor, but this completely cemented my fears into my head. I tried to get as close to them as I could, while still staying hidden in the trees. Unfortunately, it wasn't close enough to hear their conversation.

I could only see Sapnap's face, as Y/n had their back towards me. I tried to read his lips, but I found myself unable to decipher what he was saying. I had already decided that if Wilbur asked, I would blame it on the lighting. It was only half the truth, the shadows and receding moonlight left a dark cast over the forest.

I found a flame of anger and hatred begin to burn brighter inside of me the longer I watched. It brought back memories of Eret and how she was never around before his betrayal. My hands curled into fists just at the thought of them again.

I knew I couldn't let it happen again. That's the reason I decided to follow them in the first place, to stop their plans before they can hurt put progress as a nation.

I didn't even notice I was grinding my teeth until my attention was brought to the two people in front of me when I heard footsteps. I saw them running in the opposite direction and couldn't help but fear they had seen me while I was lost in thought.

I didn't even need to think about it before running after the group, still trying to keep a bit of a distance in case they hadn't actually seen me.

I slowed down once the sounds of their footsteps disappeared. I glanced around, not entirely sure as to where they had gone. I could only see the seemingly endless trees and the darkness was growing as the moon continued to disappear.

Shit. I can't lose them now.

I found myself wandering around until I could see a slope through the trees. I immediately recognized where I was. I recognized the hill and cautiously climbed up, going slow and quietly, hoping that the two came here.

I found myself at the edge of the treeline on the top of the hill when I saw them. I my eyes widened in both shock and disgust as I couldn't help but speak the only thought on my head.

"What the fuck," I stared in horror as both Sapnap and Y/n's heads snapped to stare right at me. I felt as if I was turned to stone by their gaze for only a moment before my legs took off, carrying me deep into the forest I emerged from.

I could hear Y/n shout something after me, but I had no plans of slowing down or stopping. I needed to get to L'Manburg and that's all that mattered to me.

The sun was rising now, the sunlight beginning to seep through the trees to the east. I was smacked by several low branches, but I didn't let them slow me down until I reached the gates to L'Manburg.

Wilbur's never going to believe this.

Dream Pov:

When the two of them took off together, I had made plans to follow them when someone seemed to have already beaten me to it. I could feel the low growl in my throat as a familiar kid went sprinting after the couple.

Stupid Tommy, always getting in the way of all of my plans.

I figured the best course of action here was to wait for Sapnap to come back this way to return to the base and confront him. My curiosity was beginning to get the best of me the longer I stood there waiting.

I found myself heading in the same direction the three others had run off it several minutes before. I moved lightly across the forest floor, careful not to make a sound while still keeping up my pace.

The sound of two sets of footsteps grew louder after just a few moments as I narrowly ducked behind a tree. The footsteps passed just a moment after I found my cover. I peeked around the tree, hearing Y/n's voice calling after Tommy, catching a glimpse of Tommy's red and white shirt through the trees.

I could feel the grin creeping up my face as an idea came into my head. The plan seemed foolproof at first glance, and I knew I would eventually set the plan into motion.

However, my biggest concern for the moment was finding wherever Sapnap had gone. I continued on in the direction that the two L'Manburgians had come from, following it until reaching the hill.

I didn't bother trying to be stealthy at this point, as the two people I was concerned about were already gone. Besides, I had planned to confront Sapnap anyways.

When I reached the top of the hill, there he was. A silhouette in the sunrise with his back facing towards me. I took a couple of slow steps towards my friend, reaching my hand out and gently placing it on his shoulder.

I felt a bit bad when he jumped slightly at the movement. His posture relaxed, but his expression didn't. It appeared to be a mix of fear, guilt and shock as he glanced away from me, back to the sunrise once more.

"I think we have a lot to talk about."

A/n: I want to apologize if the constant pov changes is getting pretty repetitive and a bit annoying, I just found it to be the easiest way for me to show the thoughts of each character and their actions when they aren't mentioned in the other povs.

This should be the last chapter of different characters perspectives of the same events, as I don't feel they are as necessary for upcoming chapters.

As always please remember to take care of yourselves. Drink water, eat food and get plenty of rest. Don't overwork yourselves. I love you all (/p) <3333
