Chapter 22

Synchronicity

"Can't believe that slut. She acts as if she doesn't care about anything but she's all over Jimin and flirting with him,"

A girl muttered to her friend with a scowl as they both stared at the picture on their phone screen. It was a picture of Jimin helping Min with coffee bean grinding at the café they worked at. It had been taken by a student from the university and circulated all over the university campus.

"She's honestly so fake to be acting as if she doesn't care about men. She's probably more desperate than all the girls here!"

The girl's friend cackled as they both high-fived. However, they were immediately pushed by Hana who overheard their entire conversation.

"Get lost, saekki,"

She hollered as the two girls scoffed before walking away. Hana huffed as she rushed towards Min.

"Did you see the picture of you and Jimin?"

"Of course I did,"

Min muttered as she stuffed her worksheets in her tote bag.

"What's going on between you and Jimin anyways? I thought you didn't like him?"

"We just talk occasionally. Besides, he's the one that suddenly talked to me,"

Min stated as she turned to face Hana with a blank face. Hana's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Maybe... He's your secret santa! He wants to know more about you so that he could give you a gift!"

Hana exclaimed as her eyes grew wide. Min hesitated before fake laughing.

"There's no way!"

She exclaimed a little too loudly. Her eyes shifted around suspiciously. There was no way Jimin could be her secret santa. Besides, she was his secret santa! What were the odds? And if he were her secret santa, does that mean this whole time, he was just making use of her?
However, Min just kept quiet and walked towards her next lecture room. The possibility of Jimin being her secret santa was low but never 0. However, she was actually slowly warming up to Jimin and might even consider him a little more than just an acquaintance but he could have been making use of her the entire time?
