Dilemma

Min typed all the gathered information and notes into the PowerPoint slide and was finally done with the first two questions of her topic. One more question to go but she planned on working on that next week. She beamed as she turned off her laptop and closed it.

"I'm finally done,"

She muttered as she raised her arms to stretch.

"I'm going home now. Good luck on your research,"

She said as she put her notebook, laptop and worksheets into her tote bag before standing up.

"Wait! I'm almost done with mine as well. Can you wait for me? Then, we can get some bubble tea!"

Namgi exclaimed as he typed furiously in his laptop.

"Oh, I actually have something to attend to, so I need to go home immediately. Sorry,"

She stated before turning around and walking towards the door. She plugged in her earphones and started listening to music as she made her way to the library's main door. When she reached, she grabbed onto the handle and pulled it. However, she found it way easier than normal.
Furrowing her eyebrows, she looked up from her phone only to see Jimin grabbing the handle from the other side of the door and pushing it. She froze and stood still in silence as she stared at him, rooted to the spot. However, he did not even spare a glance at her and proceeded to walk straight past her and into the library.
Wow, there's no need to be petty. Min thought as she rolled her eyes and walked out of the library. The scene where they argued unfolded in her mind again as Jimin's voice echoed in her head. Maybe, it was her fault? Maybe she mattered to him? Maybe he actually did care for her and was just trying to help her out? But, why would he do that? What would he gain from it?
He must have a motive especially because of how he acted like he did not even care about her when he saw her. If he truly ever cared for her, he would not have been so petty and instead, he would talk to her again.

Right?
