A Note

"Here's your coffee,"

Jimin said as he handed the customer her coffee with a smile. The customer blushed as she walked away. Min, who was standing beside Jimin while making a latte scowled. Jimin has been ignoring her the entire time they were on shift and she hated it.

"Min, a customer would like a pour-over coffee!"

Sighing, Min grabbed the coffee beans and started grinding them. The moment she touched the handle, images of Jimin helping her with grinding coffee beans flooded her mind as her heart dropped. Min bit her lips as she tried to ignore the memories as she started turning the handle.
Maybe, it was her fault. Jimin seemed so genuine when he said she mattered to him. But she was scared of trusting him. What if he grew close to her to take advantage of her? All of a sudden, she and Jimin started talking to each other so often for no reason. There had to be a motive, right?
But that was what she thought of Hana at first. However, never did Hana once betrayed her. Maybe some people grow close to others not just for the reason of benefiting from them? Min sighed, as the handle she was turning slowed down.
It was her fault. Jimin did nothing but help her but she mistook his intentions. To be honest, she kind of missed talking to him. Maybe, this once, she could take a leap of faith, something she never had done, and try to apologise. Hence, right before her shift ended, she started whipping up a mocha and started writing a note.

To: Jimin

Hi. I don't know if you can tell, but I'm horrible at apologies. So, I wrote this note and made a mocha for you because it seems like your childish and arrogant self would like something obnoxious and overly sweet. Sorry, I digress.
I would like to apologise to you face to face because I realised that I had mistook your intentions. I know your shift ends right at dinner, so could we perhaps meet up at the swing at 8 pm?
