Chapter20: I will be okay/ oh- well...

Lloyd's POV:

"I'm home..."

I heard Kai's voice from the living, i looked around me and saw Nya running toward the front door worriedly.

"Nya wh-"
I fall silent looking at him, he was wet from the head to the toes. His hair all over his eyes hiding his most of his face from us.

"Oh my dear... Come inside, hurry." I generally took both his hands.

'They are so cold...' i though to myself looking at him with worry, i turned toward jay and asked him for a towel, he nodded and disappeared into the rooms.

"Come one, take off your shoes and let's get you some dry clothes."

To my surprise he didn't give any reaction, he usually enter the house with his smile or evil smirk but now i don't know what happened.

Zane, Cole and Jay were looking at him with concern while he didn't even look at any of us.

"Kai, where have you been? We were worried." I heard mom asking while i helped him drying his hair a little so he won't catch a cold.

"The forest." He simply answered with a cold voice.

I slowly moved his bangs to have a clear view of his face. I looked directly at him in the eye but he awakwardly looked back.

The sparkle that used to be in them is no more there, his eyes looks so red and tired. No one knows what is he hiding from emotions inside those pretty amber eyes.

"You look tired baby, do you want to eat anything? Or maybe just sleep?"

He forced a smile and looked at me "Don't worry Lloydie, i will just sleep a little it'll help me."

I nodded at him and started walking upstairs to his room. But from the corner of my eyes i saw he slowly give Morro a small smile when the Ghost get closer to talk to him. Morro looked at the ground and just told him to have enough rest.

3rd person POV:

After Lloyd went up with Kai, the other looked at each other awakwardly. They wanted to know what happened to Kai to let him be this emotionless but they just let it slide since the boy was super exhausted.

"I think it's better if we talk in the morning, today was a long day. Let's go have some rest." Cold said making everyone nod.

They said their goodnight to each other and went inside their rooms.

Lloyd went with Kai, she helped him change his wet clothes to new once and put him in bed sitting beside him while he didn't say any word to her.

She was worried sick about him, yet she was scared to ask him fearing she'd mess up in her talk.

"Want me to stay the night?" She asked with a soft voice playing with Kai's hair and he nodded "Yes please."

She smiled at him and he slowly let her get in bed with him hugging her so tight.

He put his head on her neck while she help his waist hugging him close to her whispering sweet nothings to him to help him fall asleep a little since he barely have any sleep for the past few weeks.

She told herself she would let him have something to eat when they wake up in the morning.

After some time, she heard a soft breathe meaning Kai already passed to the dream land resting a little.

She looked at her lover's pale face and sighed "I know you're going through something... I know you don't want to be a burden to us as you always tell me, but the thing you still don't understand is that you will never be one to us my dear, i know your anxiety and depression are the reason, and we know you have been fighting them for the past few years... But we wish you can just let us help you, we would be so happy to help you overcome whatever is bothering you. You have gone through so much even without trying to get into troubles, you get it from me, from Nay and from everyone and you still blame yourself for whatever you didn't do... I really wish i can take those thoughts from you my love, it must hurt a lot thinking of those right? I just wish you can trust me, trust us and please be selfish for once toward your feelings, let them out and not inside... That's what is killing you... All matter to me is you're still fighting, so please keep on fighting for me, don't give up at least not yet."

She whipped her tears and kissed his forehead fixing her position to finally fall asleep in her lover's arms.

The next morning,

Nya went out early to get her brother something to cheer him.

Jay, Cole and Zane woke up at 8am, Zane was cooking breakfast while the two were playing some games in their phones waiting for the food.

"Do you guys think he had some sleep?" Jay asked breaking the silence "I think he did, or else he would be here with us." Cole answered him still focusing on his phone.

"Should i wake them up?" Zane turned to them getting their attention, he really didn't want to do that. He thinks the boy need some extra rest to get to his usual self again.

"I think it would be better if you let him sleep for some more, he barely had rest for the past few weeks. He really need this one, and when he'll wake up i suggest he have some food to get some energy again." They heard Morro from behind them seeing him standing in the door, the boys nodded and finished what they were doing while Morro went for a walk in the garden.

Lloyd has just woken up, she was slowly rubbing her eyes to have a clear view.
She looked at the time reading 8:04am she looked at the boy in her arm sleeping peacefully, she kissed his cheek smiling slowly, she didn't want to wake him up yet so she stayed there looking at his face and playing with his hair a little.

Around two hours later, Kai started moving, he slowly yawned opening his eyes meeting the light of the day.

He felt some warm hands around his waist and a very comfortable touch in his hair, he looked up and saw his lovely girlfriend playing with his hair while going through her phone with her other hand, she kissed her neck getting her attention.

"Oh- good morning love~ how did you sleep?" She asked him with a smile And he slowly smiled back

"I slept okay." His voice was a bit raspy but he ignores it.

Lloyd nodded at him and helped him up "Okay, let's wash up and go downstairs okay?"

He slowly nodded, he get up from his bed taking a towel with some clean clothes and went to the bathroom to have a bath while Lloyd went downstairs to prepare their breakfast.

Meanwhile,
Kai had get out of the shower. He was fixing his hair and looked at the mirror, negative though start going through his mind. He looked so pale, he have eye bags and his hair messy, he lost a lot of weight and his clothes are a way bigger than him making him look small.

"What have I done to myself? How did i reach here? Where did the time go when i was taking care of myself and my body? I look so horrible... I just wish i can broke this mirror and never have the chance to look at myself ever again... So disgusting."

He turned the mirror to the other side so he won't have to look at his 'disgusting face' as he calls it.

He sat in his bed going through Twitter waiting for Lloyd to call him, he saw again all the death threat he have been getting ignoring all of them, he don't know why but his time line is full of his haters, all they do is bark all the day over how he is an attention seeker and he doesn't deserve dating Lloyd. But since he's used to that he just logged in into his private account where he kept only who really cares about him from friends or fans it does matter.

Not long after Lloyd called him to have breakfast with her. When he went down he saw Jay and Nya begin yelled at by Zane.

"What happened here?" He went over to them with a curious voice "Oh good morning my brother, how did you sleep?" Zane asked giving him all his attention forgetting about the two "I slept well thanks, but why are you yelling at them?"

Zane glared at them and sighed "They ate all the food that was prepared for lunch and for you and Lloyd, i asked them to not go near it but they still did it and now I'm teaching them."

Kai looked at his sister and laughed at her while Nya glared at him swearing inside she would have her revenge.

"You don't have to Zane, Lloyd is already making something for us... Even though I don't know if i can really ear anything hehe."
"What do you mean-"

Suddenly, the boys heard a crushing voice and a scream, it was from Misaco.

They hurried to the dinning room to see a hug egg?!
