Chapter11: Worried about him pt.2

Lloyd's POV
My eyes widened, I couldn't believe what I was seeing... It was kai... Kai was in the ground crying his heart out hugging his knees and sobbing hard.
My breath hitched and I feel myself freezing and not moving...

I can't believe Kai is sobbing hard, I've never thought I would see this scene in a million year. I could feel tears in my eyes, I quickly whipped them. I can't let him cry while I'm here.

I slowly get out from under the bed and start walking toward him "K-Kai..." I finally get the courage to call his name and for a moment his sobbed stopped... He quickly looked up at me and I swear I could feel my heart break to pieces. His beautiful golden ember eyes were full of tears, his cheeks deep crimson, his lips were bleeding probably from bitting and he was pale... So pale. All that was looking at me with a lot of shock and fear? I couldn't help but gasp, he was looking a misery, I couldn't help myself but to shade some tears.

I collect myself and run to his side kneeling down. I took his face in my hands but he took his face away whipping his year from his face and eyes.

I was so worried and I really wanted to have him in my embrace to hug him and protect him from whatever hurt we him and made him cry

"W-what are y-you doing h-here? You're n-not supposed to be here L-Lloyd! They are after you!" He said still not making eye-contact with me "What happened? Are you hurt somewhere???" I asked with fear and he just shock his head "No, I-I'm not hurt I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me."

I looked at him with confusion "What do you mean 'you don't have to worry about me'? Huh? You're sobbing your hear out but telling me to not worry?? Is that ever possible???? Of course I would worry! Kai tell me now what. Happened!" I said a bit angry, I was so worried about him. I'm so scared about his health too.

He didn't answer at first and he didn't look at me yet his expression is making me scared... And impatient
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME KAI SMITH?! ARE YOU REALLY TRYING TO MAKE ME BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE FINE WHILE YOU'RE HERE CRYING?! I'm not stupid Kai."
I lost my patience so I start screaming he jumped a little at my sudden scream

"I SAID... I'm fine, Lloyd please... I'm begging you... Leave, go! And don't comeback! I would never forgive myself of they get you... And if they did I won't be able to save you. I'm begging you stay away fr here... I hardly run away and it was with Skylor's help but i'm still begin chased. Please go away and hide it's very dangerous and... Pretend like you didn't see anything or know where I am."

I was speechless... I'm so shocked after hearing this... The Kai I know would never say something like that. Wait! Skylor? Why would she help him? I don't trust her at all.

I looked around and found a pic, I run and pick it up. It was a pic of a couple? Wait the man was Kai and Nya's father i'm sure! But... Who is this woman? I've never see it before... It's different from the one Nya showed us. Okay this is weird.

Did Chen said something to Kai? "What did he say?" I looked at him with an emotionless expression and he froze 'I think i right.'

I walked toward him and held his hands "Kai?" I called him with a soft voice.
"Look at me in the eye Kai... Please." Finally, he made eye-contact with me; I weakly smiled at him "Kai, whatever Chen said to you, never ever listen to him. Don't you dare believe him. You and I both know that he is a lier and all his talk is just nothing but lies!"
