Vincent Hacker, I think I'm falling for you.

"So, how do you like school so far?" Vinnie asked me.

We weren't friends but I got used to sitting beside him during history that we sort of started talking. Alyssa approved it too. She even managed to get Louis and Kiara to start dating, it's been a week since they started.

"Could get used to not seeing you for a month," I replied simply, not paying attention at all in history.

He pretended to be hurt and that made me giggle. Damn, no wonder he gets all the girls.

"Don't worry, I won't ever disappear for a month again," he smirked. My cheeks flushed but I tried to hide it.

"So why did you not show up at all last month?" I asked him.

"Family stuff," he replied, not wanting to let on anymore. "Yeah, my family's a bit complicated."

I could see he was being serious when he said that, slightly hurt even, so I chose not to push it.

"So let's talk about your history projects," Mr Walsh announced. We turned to give  him our full attention.

"You will be making a presentation on Janesville's history and then presenting it to your class. You work in groups of four." He stated before ending his class.

We all got up and began packing our bags to head out to our next lesson.

"Wanna work together?" Kiara asked me as she came over to my desk. I nodded, before realising we needed two more people.

"I'll ask Louis and maybe we can ask Vinnie?" She asked, raising her tone so Vinnie could hear her. I rolled my eyes at her. Louis was also in history with us, much to Kiara's happiness.

"Since your friend so sweetly requested that I work with you guys, I have no choice but to say yes," Vinnie answered. Kiara laughed while I giggled again. Seriously, what kind of effect does this boy have on me?

"Cool, Ill make a groupchat and we can plan when we want to work together," I said and Vinnie nodded, winking at me as he walked out of class, his bag hung on one of his shoulder.

I couldn't explain how I felt about Vinnie, he was very attractive and had a lovely personality from as long as I've known him. He was flirting with me and I guess, I was too. I knew his reputation in our school wasn't the best, after all, who would want to date a playboy? Even then, I felt as if there was more to him that met the eye and he had me hooked.

Vincent Hacker, I think I'm falling for you.
