The Vampire He Is (Vinnie Hacker)

"We're more alike than you think."

Alyssa came back into the room as fast as she had left. I could tell she was slightly nervous as Vinnie was outside, calling Dylan over. I, although it sounds selfish, was glad that Dylan was coming over so any chance of Alyssa and Vinnie could be eliminated. I guess you could call me slightly jealous, maybe even insecure.

When Vinnie came back into the room, he shot us a smile. "Dylan's coming over," he smiled.

I laughed, hugging Alyssa as she blushed harder than ever. At least that meant Vinnie and I had a shot with each other, if he liked me back. It was hard to avoid my feelings for him, especially recently. Hanging out more frequently with him made me realise that I was falling hard for him.

"Alyssa, he's here, invite him in," Vinnie stated. Alyssa ran out of the room, the rest of us laughing at her.

Vinnie sat down beside me as Kiara and Louis went back to their "conversation", I think we get the point. "How do you know Dylan?" I asked him.

"He's more like family to me. Met him when we were little and we grew up with each other," Vinnie replied. "He knows me better than anyone else."

The door flew open and Alyssa stepped in, followed by a tall, dirty blonde guy, with green eyes and a physique that would make any girl fall for him instantly. He smiled, dimples flashed, turned to Vinnie as they exchanged a hug.

"Everyone meet Dylan," Vinnie introduced.

To say he was handsome would be an understatement. Dylan was the definition of fine. The way Alyssa blushed when she walked in with him, her constant fawning over him, it all made sense. He was unreal.

"Nice to meet you all," he said, slightly awkward. "Sorry, this was a bit last minute."

"Are you single?" Louis asked all of a sudden.

"Well if you're asking for yourself, then yes, I am," he smirked. Louis gave him a fist bump as we all laughed along.

"I approve of him, Alyssa," Louis said, earning a shove from her.

"I didn't believe when Vinnie told me the hot, drunk girl I found at the party and immediately fell for was also into me," he said.

Vinnie chuckled as we teased the two.

"I guess you could say its fate," he continued. "We're more alike than you think."
