"Who's that?" I asked as my mum headed towards our front door. She looked through the peep hole before smiling and opening the door.
"That's Lee." She opened the door wide, Lee stood on the doorstep his arms crossed.
"Long time no see, Lillian. I must say you look wonderful." Lee smiled at my mum, who was in her dressing gown.
"Lee, please, flirt with anyone just not my mum." I chuckled as he walked into the house.
It was odd, him being there. He knew where I lived, he only lived ten minutes away, but he never came in he always stayed at the door.
"I take it you're here for your cousins cake?" My mum groaned as we headed back into he kitchen.
"Yup, Aaliyah says she'll give you the rest of the money on Saturday." Lee said handing her an envelope.
"Okay hun, but I haven't quite finished it yet." She gestured to the cake, it was just a simple sponge covered in pink icing.
"It'll be about an hour before it's ready." She nodded, molding a flower from the icing.
"You can just hang around here for a bit, y/n could make some tea." My mum nodded me towards the kettle.
"Okay." Lee called back in a chilled out manner. He was looking around the living room.
"You need a tour?" My mum smiled as Lee stared at the picture frames on the wall.
"I wouldn't mind one." He shrugged.
"Well, kitchen and living room, it's all one room but it's big enough. My room, mum's room." I pointed to the closed doors. Lee raised an eyebrow taking a step towards my room.
"Lee." I sighed, he smiled even bigger, reaching for the handle.
"Godric, I hate you." I sighed opening the door myself and leading him inside.
"Oh." Lee stood in the doorway, sounding surprised.
"What?" I asked, my room had blue walls, a bed, drawers and a bookcase.
"I don't know, I just expected something less normal." He shrugged.
A/n
I realized I hadn't posted in a little bit so here's a wee chapter till I can write a longer one.
I just watched Black Widow. No spoilers but I definitely will not partake in any arm wrestles in the near future.
