"You had work today?" Ariana asked as I stepped out of my Mercedes. I looked down at my suit.

"Yeah, it was just a half day thing." I said. I closed my door and locked it. We started walking to Tiffany's.

"So you're really buying a ring for a girl?" Ariana asked.

"I mean, yeah. You know I thought about it, and I'm twenty eight. I have no substance in my life, and she actually makes me feel good." I said.

"I didn't make you feel good?" Ariana asked.

"No, that's not what I meant. It's just like I'm not competing with another person for her attention, and when she says she loves me she means it." I said.

"Do you tell her you love her?" Ariana asked.

"Honestly, yes. I do love her." I said. Ariana hummed.

"Are you in love with her?" She asked.

"Yeah, Ariana. And I think I want to get her a really big oval diamond. I think she'd like that." I said changing the subject.

"Yeah I can see her liking that." Ariana said. I opened the door for Ariana, and we walked into the building. I looked around for a while, but I couldn't really find one.

"This is so confusing. They all look the same." I said.

"We can make a custom one for you." The worker said.

"Yeah, okay. Diamond, oval shape, lot of diamonds though. Like a lot. Make the ring worth at least five million. It's an engagement ring." I said.

"Congrats." He said. I smiled. I gave him my information, and me and Ariana left.

"Can we go to get something to eat?" Ariana asked.

"Yeah, of course." I said. We walked in silence on the way to Gwen. The hostess sat us, and I couldn't help but look at Ariana as she looked at the menu. She was so beautiful in the sunlight.

"Stop looking at me, Ledger." She said not looking up.

"I'm not. I'm looking at the menu." I said picking the paper up.

"Yeah, okay." She smiled.

"So." She said putting down the menu.

"So." I said. Before we could say anything the waiter came.

"Can I get the Christophe et Fils wine?" Ariana asked. The man write it down.

"Can I get a whiskey on the rocks?" I asked. He nodded and wrote it down.

"And for food I want he market green salad and the slow roasted cauliflower." Ariana said.

"Yeah I'll take the 80 day bone in rib-eye. Medium well and duck fat potatoes. And can you bring the bottle of whiskey?" I asked. He nodded.

"Bring the bottle of wine too." Ariana said.

"You think you can keep up, Grande?" I asked.

"Always." She said. The man walked off. We made small talk until he brought our drinks. I drank my entire glass of whiskey and poured another.

"Needed that." I said. She slowly sipped some of her wine.

"So how have you been?" She asked.

"I've been good. My days consist of work, Theo and Harrison, and Kiana." I said.

"You're surviving with no sex?" She asked trying to not laugh.

"Can I be honest?" I asked. She nodded. "Literally no. I want to die most days."
