"Y/N, you have a visitor." Everly said easing through the door of the house I was building.
"Alright." I said. Ariana walked in. I rolled my eyes and put my drill down.
"Y/N, just give me a minute." She said.
"For what?" I asked.
"I left him." Ariana said.
"What?" I asked.
"I left him. I went home this morning, and I told him that I couldn't do it anymore. I told Dalton that I only wanted you. I sent him the divorce papers an hour ago." Ariana said.
"Holy shit." Was all I could say.
"This is kind of the part where you run and kiss me." She said.
"I'm with Kiana, Ariana." I told her.
"Okay? Break up with her." She said.
"Absolutely not. So is that the only thing you needed?" I asked.
"We'll finish that conversation later, but yeah I needed one more thing." Ariana said.
"And what's that?" I asked.
"A place to stay." She said. I burst out in laughter.
"Then go buy a house." I said.
"I'm scared to live alone. Can I please live with you?" She asked.
"Are you crazy?" I asked.
"I'll pay rent. I don't care. I'm scared to live by myself. Please, Y/N." Ariana begged. She looked genuine.
"Why can't you stay with your mom? Or Nonna? Or Frankie? Or Victoria? Or Courtney?" I said.
"They're busy in their own lives." She said.
"And my life isn't busy?" I asked.
"Please. Just let me live with you." Ariana said. I sighed.
"I'll call Kiana." I told her.
"You have to ask for permission? God, I hate her." Ariana said. I ignored her comment and dialed Kiana's number.
"Hi, babe. What's up?" Kiana said. I smiled.
"Hey, baby. I just had a quick question for you." I said.
"Shoot." She responded.
"Ariana really needs a place to stay. She's here begging me to stay at my place. Is that okay?" I asked. It was silent on the other line.
"Yeah, sure. You know what? I'll even cook dinner for her tonight as a welcome gift." Kiana said.
"Okay, great. I'll see you later tonight. I love you." I said.
"I love you more." She said. I hung up and put my phone in my pocket.
"So she said yes?" Ariana asked.
"Yes, she did. She's also cooking dinner for us tonight. It's a welcome gift to you." I said.
"Does she live there too?" Ariana asked.
"No, she doesn't." I said.
"Oh, okay." She said.
"I gotta get back to work, so you can have Everly call a moving company and they can get all your stuff to my house." I said. Ariana ran up and hugged me.
"Thank you so much. Thank you." Ariana said. I hugged her back.
"You're welcome." I said. She let go and left the house.
