3 - Not Just a Reunion

"Euna."

"Euna."

"Euna."

"W-What happened?" nalilitong tanong ko. The last thing I remember was us having breakfast at Mrs. Lagdameo's vacation house.

"It's already past 9 PM, Euna. I think there's something in the food we ate," seryoso pero may tunog ng pag-aalalang sabi niya. "Trina's missing."

"What?" I looked around the room and found the others lying on the couch, the bed, the floor. Nandito nga kaming lahat, maliban kay Trina. "Where are we?"

"I think we're still at Mrs. Lagdameo's house." Tinulungan niya akong tumayo. "I also think we should leave."

"We should wake them up."

"Dahli... wake up."

"Five minutes..." sabi niya sa inaantok pang boses saka tumalikod sa'kin. Napailing ako at napangiti.

"Dahli, we have to go. Come on."

"Euna."

"Y-Yeah, it's me." I hesitated at first, but I forced myself to hug her back. Guilt rushed through every part of my system as I realized that it wasn't just me who's still traumatized. I think my disappearance made things even harder for Dahlia. Saglit lang ay bumitaw rin ako. "Dahli, listen. Something's wrong. We have to find Trina and leave this place."

"What, where's Trina?"

He's the closest to Sync and I'm not surprised that he's the first person he woke up.

"She's not here," Sync answered.

"What do you mean she's not—" Vito looked around the room and stilled when he didn't find his favorite face. "Where the hell is she?"

"Were we poisoned?" Tate, being the Tate that he is, already assessed what happened as soon as he opened his eyes.

"Good morning."

I smiled for a second because of her innocent aura. She's the baby of the class before. Too pure for everything. "It's not a good morning, Fleur." I hate that I had to remove the smile on her face. "It's already evening, and we have a problem right now."
