Thomas and Evony were inseparable. Both being incredibly smart they got sent to WICKED at a young age. Then they met-and the rest was history. The star crossed lovers of the WCKD compound. The bestfriends turned lovers. They were perfect.
However when Thomas took off in the charts, Dr. Paige couldn't help but realize how much of a distraction Evony was to his studies. She became a test. She was used as bait to fuel Thomas to continue his workings at WCKD without any complaints. Evony was sent into the maze without a choice, and more importantly without her memories.
For a while it seemed to work. Thomas was excelling in all of his studies, and he was constantly working on new projects. What the doctors didn't know was he was actually advising a plan to get his girl back.
