Like I said in the last chapter when I get to 10 votes I'll do an extra chapter, this chapter will be in Yu Wang's POV and about his first meeting with Li Heng- well here it is hope you enjoy ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶
Yu Wang woke up, his death still lingering on his mind. He looked around in a panic wondering why he was still alive, he was just shot by an arrow and was bleeding out, he still remembered the pain. He gathered himself and stood up, looking at the familiar room and walking around, then he slowly reached for a mirror.
'I look much younger about 8' Yu Wang thought
He wondered if this was God's will, for him to go back into the past
'If this is god's will thank you god, I won't make the same mistakes I made in my past I will become emperor and get my revenge on those who betrayed me, especially Li Feng' Yu Wang thought to himself lying back down on the bed, looking exhausted
Yu Wang stared at the night sky through his window and slowly fell asleep
"Your highness wake up" a servant said to Yu Wang who was half asleep
"What is today Yin" Yu Wang asked his personal servant
"It's the day your parents set up to meet the Li family" Yin replied helping Yu Wang change
'Yin I haven't seen him since the day he died, he protected me even in death, this tie will be different, I'll protect you' Yu Wang thought looking at his servant
After Yin got Yu Wang ready he went to meet his parents. They were waiting for him under the shade. He waited a few minutes until the Li family arrived. When Yu Wang saw Li Feng his eyes lit up with anger and hate, wanting to strangle him and ask him why he did it but Yu Wang restrained himself. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he barely knew what was going on.
"Now let the children play while we chat, Yu Wang dear take the Li children to play" his mother said waking him up from his daze
"Yes mother," Yu Wang replied, walking to another courtyard.
"Your highness it's been some time" Li Feng said a with bow and smile
"It has been some time hasn't it" Yu Wang said looking at his old friend, and remembering the betrayal his eyes filled with more anger
"Oh yea this is my dear younger brother" Li Feng said pulling a young boy out of the shade
"Hello your highness my name is Li Heng" Li Heng said
The boy was like a fairy, with black hair and eyes, and baby fat that has not gone away yet.
'In my past life I didn't focus much on Li Feng's younger brother but he is quite cute isn't he' Yu Wang thought
"It's a pleasure meeting you Li Heng" Yu Wang said after a few seconds of staring at Li Heng
"My lovely younger brother is quite shy but he is absolutely adorable, don't you think so your highness" LI Feng says gushing about his younger brother
"He is quite a sight" Yu Wang replied in staring intenisy at Li Heng
"How about a game of chess your highness" Li Feng asked pulling Yu Wang over to a table interrupting You Wangs line of thought
"My pleasure" Yu Wang replied finally looking away from Li Heng
"It looks like you'll lose this one" Yu Wang said staring at the chess pieces
"It's not over yet" Li Feng replied looking at the pieces hard
Yu Wang reminisced about how he and Li Feng played in the past before he heard a soft voice say
"This one brother" Li Heng said with a big smile
"Checkmate, good game your highness" Li Feng said after listening to his brother's advice and playing the piece
"Good game indeed, your brother seems quite smart for his age" Yu Wang said looking at Li Heng, he was interested in this smart and cute boy
"Yes Heng is quite smart for his age and loves learning new things' Li Feng said, hugging his younger brother.
'He can be useful' Yu Wang thought before suggesting
"You should bring your brother over more often he can learn many things from the palace"
"Your right your highness, I'll talk to my parents about it"
After a bit more chatting the Li family returned home and Yu Wang went back to his room, the bright boy's smile lingering in Yu Wang's memory.
