Yes. Rachel knew that she was the oracle and she wasn't allowed to date anyone. Not like her dad would mind that part about being a creepy fortune-telling fog maker. He'd always been overprotective when it came to boys. When he figured out that Rachel had even kissed Percy on the cheek, he freaked out.

Percy... The name got an ache blasting through her heart. She knew she wasn't the only one to love him. With those godly looks... he might as well be a god. Nico had loved him. Reyna had loved him. Thalia had even crushed on him once before she got over it. All the Aphrodite girls drooled over the oblivious little blob. Heck, even Calypso fell for him! And she was a titaness. A gorgeous titaness.

But alas, he chose Annabeth. Annabeth Chase. Rachel and Annabeth were friends, yes, but that didn't help her jealousy one bit. In ways, she resented Annabeth because she was dating Percy. Guilt always stabbed her whenever she thought that way. It wasn't like Annabeth was mean to her or anything. Nothing like that.

Sitting in a cave wasn't what she wanted to do. She lived in a cave. With no one to entertain her but herself. For once, she kinda understood what it was like to be Calypso. Except, she was allowed to see her friends if she just took a small 1 minute hike over to the Big House. So she did. Putting on her tennis shoes and her paint-splattered T-shirt, she walked through the trees, looking up at the sky.

It was blue.

His favorite color.

"Rachel!" Percy's yell was heard as she crested the hill.

With his bright sea-green eyes shining in the sunlight, he was waving like a five-year-old kid seeing their parents at the kindergarten pick-up.

"Rachel!" Grover bleated, grinning as he waved.

"Hey, RED!" Annabeth waved as she hugged Piper.

"You came just in time," Leo said. "Frank, Hazel, and Reyna are coming over tomorrow from Camp Jupiter."

"Yeah!" Jason's eyes were alight with excitement.

Rachel laughed, enjoying the sight before her. Camp. Even if she technically visited her father once every summer, she lived at camp. It was her home. She felt someone pull her into a strong hug and was about to hit them with a hairbrush before she saw it was Percy, cuteness written all over his face.

"Good to see ya!" He grinned before taking out a little blue dum dum lollipop.

"Percy!" Annabeth scolded, laughing. "You've already had like five of those today! You're gonna go on a sugar craze!"

"AND THAT'S WHAT I WANT!" Percy cheered, sucking on the little sugar sphere.

"You seaweed brain..." Annabeth sighed, giving him a kiss on his lips.

Rachel didn't love watching it, if she was completely honest. It was weird to her. Honestly, it made her uncomfortable.

"I'm gonna go to my room in the Big House," she said quickly.

"Do you need help with your stuff--" Annabeth started but Rachel cut her off politely.

"No... Uhm... No thanks, Annabeth. I'll see you at dinner."

Rachel dashed off, seeing them kiss again out of the corner of her eye. She cursed. Why did he have to be so cute?!

___

Hazel, Frank, and Reyna came running in, Dakota hot on their heels with a large bowl of Kool-Aid. They were riding on elephants, of course, and the moment they crossed the boarder, Rachel and her friends all rushed to them. Getting down from the massive creatures, Hazel crushed Percy in a hug while Reyna did the same for her.

"We missed you so much!" Percy blabbed while sucking on another dum dum.

"Percy, you've eaten twenty of those in the past twelve hours! You need to stop!" Annabeth scolded him again.

"BUT I WANNA BE JITTERY!" Percy whined, trembling slightly from all the sugar he had just eaten.

Even if he was sugar high, he looked adorable.

"Come on!" Frank laughed. "We've gotta go catch dinner!"

"I WANT FOOOD!" Percy screamed while running down the hill, his arms flailing in the air like he was a crazy man.

"I'm gonna go get him before he crashes into the rock wall," Annabeth sighed, racing after him.

___

"I'm cold," Rachel said as she shivered. "Do you have a hoodie I could borrow? I left mine at the cave."

"Sure," Annabeth said, pulling out a blue hoodie.

"That's a bit big for you," Rachel joked.

"Yeah, it's Percy's."

Rachel frowned, looking at the hoodie. Something about taking it felt a bit wrong to her and she felt guilty.

"Are you sure? I can always wear a different one--" she started but Annabeth cut her off, waving it off.

"He ordered too much by accident, so he accidentally ordered three. I got two, he kept one. It's okay. Keep it."

Rachel put it on and she almost fainted when it smelled like him.

"Come on, let's go to the campfire," Annabeth said as she walked out.

Boy, it was a surprise when Percy was on one knee with a ring held out in front of him.

"Annabeth Chase... uhm... random question... can you change your last name to Jackson?"

Wow. Wow.

"That is the most blunt proposal ever. But YES!" Annabeth launched herself at him and Rachel felt her heart squeeze painfully.

But she was happy for him. He was happy. She knew it.

___

"Hey..." she said as she walked into Reyna's room.

Nico was there, too, silently shifting through cards. Calypso, too.

"Hey," Reyna said.

Suddenly, Rachel had to get something off her chest. It was too much.

"UGH! I STILL LOVE PERCY!"

All three beings in the room frowned at her. Immediately, Rachel cursed.

"It's okay," Reyna sighed. "I know how you feel."

"You're... You don't think I'm not a bad friend?" Rachel stuttered, realizing tears were in her eyes.

"No!" Nico shook his head. "You're reasonably attracted to him."

"Well... How do I get rid of it?" Rachel asked.

"You can't. But I've found painting helps. Put those acrylic paints to use and stop ruining your clothes!" Calypso laughed, pointing to Rachel's paint-splattered shirt.

"And tell Annabeth," Reyna said gently. "She'll understand."

___

"Hey, Rachel. What's u--"

"I love Percy."

Annabeth stared at her and Rachel feared she was going to throw her dagger, but instead, Annabeth smiled.

"I know."
