"When we get in this house don't act a fool." My momma said pointing at all of us but looking at me, Jameer, Lan, and Sani.

"I'm catching allat shade miss girl." I said,squinting my eyes.

"Nylani, don't test me in here." She said, looking at me.

"Ok can we knock, it's hot." Sani said, waving his hand in his face.

"Don't rush me." Momma said, knocking.

We were all at my Auntie Whitney house to check on her. She also said I could come by and look in Amarion's room and take what I wanted.

"Who is it !" We heard on the other side of the door.

"Us nigga open the door." My dad said, covering the peep hole.

The door opened revealing tt Whitney holding a gun.

"She said unt unt satan." Sani said, laughing as he looked at her.

"She not with the fuck shit." Lan added, laughing harder.

"Watch y'all mouth and get in here." TT said, opening the door wider.

When I made it to the door I pulled tt into a hug kissing her cheek.

"Hi tt." I spoke lowly, rubbing her back.

"Hello Marie." She said, pulling back.

"You know I wanna know where my baby at." I said, smiling at her.

"He around here somewhere call his name." She said, shutting the door.

Walking into the living room, I walked over to the couch laying down on my back, laying my head in my uncle Rance's lap.

Looking up at him, I spoke.

"Hi uncle Rance." I said, smiling as he looked down at me.

"Wassup toot." He said,leaning down kissing my forehead.

Feeling eyes on us, I looked around the room.

"What ?" I asked, laughing at my dads face.

"Every time we come down here, he be trynna steal my daughter." My da,said with his face scrunched up.
