Chapter 5

//1ST FEBRUARY 2020//(Y/NS POV) 

It's been a month since I moved to LA it's been awesome. I'm happier than ever with my friend group and seeing Liam. We've been on a few dates and he makes me super happy. He didn't pay attention in school but he did have some smarts. Street smarts. He always texts and FaceTimes me. It makes me smile. I've told my mom and Anna about him, I haven't told the boys in my life because I know how they would react. Liam is 16 already and is turning 17 because he started school a year late but I really like him.

Tonight I was out with all the families, I was sitting next to Reece.

"Y/N do you have a Prince Charming yet?" Reece asks.

"Well Reecey I have a guy but he's not my Prince Charming." I say quietly to her.

"Who?" She whispers back.

"He's name is Liam." I say softly.

"Is he cute?" She asks in a childish way.

"Extremely." I smile back.

"Yay, go Y/N." She says clapping lightly.

"So Y/N how's school?" Myta asks me.

"It's good." I smile.

"Friends?" Saskia asks.

"Yeah I have great ones." I smile at her.

"Y/N!?" I hear from behind me.

My eyes widen and I smile. I turn around and smile at Liam. I look behind me at my family. My brothers eyes widen, my dad looking at my smiling mom, my mom and sister smiling. I walk to Liam and he takes my hand and spins me around.

"Looking good." He smiles pulling me into a hug.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as we pull away.

"I'm getting food for the others." He says. "Riley and Jake are at my place."

"Ooo fun a boys night." I smile at him.

"Yeah if only they weren't eating all my food." He says chuckling.

I laugh too.

"Liam (SOME LAST NAME)" The cashier says.

Liam takes his food and turns back to me.

"Are we still on for tomorrow night?" He says hugging me again.

"Absolutely." I smile.

"Fantastic." He says kissing my cheek.

We've kissed before but I guess he could feel everyone's eyes on us.

"Bye." We say as he walks out.

I walk over to the table slowly trying not to scare the paused faces with jaws dropped.

"Is that Liam?!" Reece asks standing up.

"Yeah." I smile as I sit down.

"He better be the gay friend!?" Daniel's voice sounds stern.

"No." I say quietly.

"He looks lovely." Sydnie smiles at me.

Kristin smiles at me.

"He's really nice." I say.

"So he's your boyfriend?" Tyler says looking at me confused.

"No, we are still just talking." I say with a gulp.

"He's just trying to sleep with you." Christian says plainly.

"Boys be happy for her." Anna says giving them a look.

"Be happy? She never even told us about him." Tyler says.

"Boys stop." Mom says.

Dad still looked so shocked. Like he had been shot.

"Dad are you going to say anything?" Daniel says angry.

"I'm still processing it." My dad says rubbing his face.

"Processing it? Dad some guy is trying to sleep with your daughter." Christian says.

"Would you all stop it!?" I demand.

They all stop bickering and look at me.

"He isn't trying to sleep with me, he is actually really wonderful and before any of you boys judge my relationship have a look at yours!" I say before storming off to the bathroom with tears in my eyes.

Once I'm in the bathroom I pull out my phone and ring him.

"Hey Y/N what's up?" Liam asks.

"Can you come and pick me up?" I ask wiping my under eyes.

"Yeah sure, where am I taking you?" He asks as I hear the keys.

"Anywhere to get away from this." I say with a bit of a laugh.

"I can bring you back to my place, Lillian is here." He says lightly.

"Yeah that would be great." I say smiling.

Lillian was like my best friend. We talk to most.

"Sweet I'll be there in five minutes." He says.

"Okay, I'll see you then." I say.

"Okay." He says.

"Hey Liam?" I say.

"Yes?" He replies.

"Thank you." I say fiddling with my necklace.

"No problem." He says, I could hear the smirk in his voice.

We say and I walk out to the group.

"Y/N the boys are sorry." My mom says plainly.

"Save it, I'll see everyone later." I say grabbing my coat and walking outside.

"Where are you going?" Jonah asks.

"Liams coming to pick me up." I say looking at my brothers with a look.

Daniel's jaw clenched and Tyler and Christian's jaws dropped.

"Are you serious?" Daniel says slamming his hand down.

"Bite me." I say before I walk out.

I didn't care what anyone said Liam makes me happy. I couldn't help but smile as his car pulled up.
