The tension between Asahi and Aone was so thick you could almost cut through it. The score was currently 17 - 17
Aone deflected Asahi's spike and Date Tech went to counter.
Tsukishima and Asahi moved next to each other as they got ready to block.
You flinched as Takeda started yelling. "H-hey! Don't you forget!" He stood up as Asahi and Tsukki block Aone. "We have a wall of our own!!"
You cup your hands over your mouth. "THATS IT TSUKKI BABY. GET EM."
The blonde glares at you, but the tips of his ears were red.
"Tch! Idiot.." he gives you a look of disgust.
The game continued back and forth. Hinata finally rotated back up front.
Tadashi was standing next to you, giving Tsukki a smile as it was the blondes turn to serve.
You looked over and up at the freckled male. "Hey, Yamaguchi," you say, giving him a wave.
He grins and waves back enthusiastically. "Hi!"
Ennoshita has now joined Suga in glaring at Yams like Ò^Ó. V jealous bbys.
"Think well really win this one?" Tadashi asks, scratching his cheek.
"Hm.. my honest opinion? I think so. It all depends on this set.. I don't know if we can beat them if we go into full sets.. but I do think we have a good chance of winning," you say, being honest yet still hopeful.
You looked back as Asahi received. Hinata sprinted up the net and scored before anyone had the chance to react.
Date Tech countered with a quick set of their own and the whole 'you score I score' pattern settled in.
Karasuno was now sitting at 22 with Date Tech only two points behind.
Asahi deflected a spike from Sasaya (I think that's his name?) giving his team a free ball.
"Yeah!! Nice deflection, Asahi-san!" Tanaka says, giving Noya room to receive the ball.
Hinata baits their captain and Asahi scores again.
"Yes!" Tadashi pumps his fist excitedly and you thought it was quite cute.
"Nice kill!!" You shout, remembering your 'promise' to cheer Asahi on.
Whew.. you sat back and covered your mouth with your fist. Just one more point until set point. Come on, guys. You can do this.
"Kamasaki-san," Futakuchi says as he starts riling him up, "you sure they aren't looking down their noses at you, since you hide in Aone's shadow all the time?"
