What happens if I told you that the deliverance you're seeking needs fasting. Fasting is a spiritual discipline We fast so that we can be more in tune with the Holy Spirit and hear God better. We don't give the flesh what it needs and desires temporarily so that we can focus on growing our spirit.

If you're struggling with habitual sin and backsliding, I recommend fasting and dedicating that time to spend time with God and in prayer.

Fasting is powerful because of the effect it has spiritually. Physically we feel fatigued, hunger, tiredness but spiritually our spirit is being fed. When we fast, we use the time we would eat to rather feed our spirit. It isn't a genuine fast if you eat and watch the time just so you can eat again or fast but binge-watch movies and read novels all day that isn't growing your Spirit.

Fasting is disciplining ourselves by saying no to our flesh temporary and by instead feeding our Spirit with prayer and truth. We are more discerning because we aren't as distracted. Our Spirit is strengthened and so we can receive from God better.
