Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God for a reason. Everything else will fall, set, and be positioned into place.
We are told constantly in scripture that all things work together for our good and HIS purpose.
When we seek those things that are going to fall into place more than we seek God and we put them first, then it will be a struggle to keep God in the center of our lives.
It will be harder to make that relationship all about God when you want it more than God does.
These things become idols in our lives and start controlling us.
