So sorry this took longer to finish than expected. I did not expect myself to take that long hiatus lol but I'm glad I'm back to it now. Hope you all enjoy this chapter ☺️

The morning was shining and the neighborhood was quiet. All Jisoo wanted to do was stay in for the day. Especially after last night's events.

But lo and behold, here she was. Standing at her front door, wearing a worn out long t-shirt and pajama shorts, hair in a messy ponytail, staring blankly at her cousin. Whom was standing outside her door, holding up a colossal cupcake.

Like food was going to make her instantly forgive Namiko.

"Ta-da~!" Namiko presented the cupcake to her with a hopeful smile. "I got you a cupcake! As a thanks for saving me."

"Wow! You can pretend to not be selfish." Jisoo said sarcastically. "Someone call the news! My cousin is pretending to be apologetic!"

Jisoo rolled her bright blue eyes and walked away from her, allowing her to come in after her.

"Look, I know I deserved that-"

"You deserve a lot more." She interrupted her as she walked into her kitchen. She pulled out a glass jar mug and began making her lotus tea. "But really, I was only doing this because both my mom and your mom wanted me to try and get a long with you. Who would have thought you would get me into trouble in only two days?"

"I was scared and shaken!" Namiko defended herself. "And your friend wasn't making it easier on me! I just sort of snapped at you due to that!"

"You see, I would believe that if you weren't such a bully to me." Jisoo replied, placing her tea pot on her electric stove. "I would also believe it, had you not torment me for all of my childhood for reasons I do not know."

Namiko huffed, crossing her arms. She knew this wouldn't go as easy as she thought it would. She had forgotten how stubborn Jisoo could be. Which she got from her father.

But she also realized just how much of a monster she has been to her own cousin and it was all due to jealousy.

Jealousy over the fact that Jisoo got showered in compliments and such whenever she would visit their family in Japan. Jealousy over the fact that it seemed like Jisoo was more talented than her.

It was a stupid reason to bully her, she knew. But she couldn't help it. She had been spoiled rotten all her life. So for someone, even in her own family, to come in and take all of the attention she had from her parents, she placed the blame on her own cousin. Who was innocent in that.

The way Jisoo snapped at her last night woke her up and she was determined to change their relationship.

Even if it would start off rocky.

"It was all due to jealousy." Namiko confessed sheepishly, causing the blue eyed singer to pause.

"What?"

"I was jealous of you." She repeated, looking into her eyes. "I was so used to my parents giving me all of their attention and love that whenever you came to visit, I got angry and selfish....."
