Forty One

Ivy's Pov

Ke and Z had just left.

"So, what are we doing today?" I ask

"I could tell you, but that'd ruin the surprise." Jonah teased

"Now, how is that fair?" I pout

"What do you mean? It's definitely fair." He assured

"It'd be even better if you just told me."

"Nope. No can do. Sorry." He said as he stepped out of bed

I cross my arms and sigh.

"How about you get dressed and we can start our day." He says

"Fine." I sigh as I pull myself out of bed

I wish I knew what he was up to.

I manage to stumble over to my clothes in his closet.

After scanning the selection for a few moments I settle on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.

I then stumble into the bathroom.

I hadn't noticed but he had really set up all my stuff.

I could feel a smile spread across my face.

He was the sweetest.

Now to start the process of getting ready.

After about 15 minutes later I emerge from the bathroom 90% ready.

I just need shoes so I settle on some comfortable ones.

Jonah walks back into the room.

"You ready?"

I grab my phone and my bag then nod.

He leads me out to his car.

"Where are we going?" I ask

"Somewhere." He says

I roll my eyes

We climb in the car.

He then sets up music for the ride.

Before we back out of the drive he takes my hand in his.

Things feel right.

"Okay so when we get there I'll drop you off and I'll go park. And you can grab us a table."

"I can walk too."

"I know you can, I just thought it'd be easier."

It then connects to what he's trying to do.

"Okay." I agree

We haven't really talked much about us while we're out in public.

We haven't even talked to the team about us.

I'm sure they'll probably tell us what we can and can't do.

About 15 minutes later we arrive at our destination.

He pulls up to allow me to get out.

I climb out as fast as I can so people can't see him.

I then go grab us a table and sit down.

I watch the cars pass by.

Next thing I things being set on the table.

I look up to tell the person that I'm waiting on someone but before the words leave my mouth I see it's Jonah.

I'm handed an iced coffee.

I take a sip and it's vanilla just the way I like it.

"Bless," I say
