"So when are you?" Corbyn asks
"When we decide." I say
"He said when." Jack adds
"When I get the chance to. We're always doing things together as a group so I don't get to plan anything."
"Wait. I got an idea." Corbyn says
We look at him waiting to hear it.
"You guys could do a double date that way of things get awkward for Z here you can come to the rescue and help out." Corbyn continues
"But do I want her to know it's an actual date?" Zach questions
"I guess we could try it. Looks like we're planning a double date then. Huh?" Zach says
"This should be fun."
"You have to admit it's a smart idea." Jack adds
It really is though.
Because if either one of them goes into a panic I can take Zach and Ivy can take Keel.
I do wanna hangout with just Ivy and sort this all out before all this goes down.
"Speaking of the girls are we ready to go meet back up?" Jack asks
"Are we done with all the rides over here that they won't do?" Corbyn questions
"Okay maybe a few more?" Zach suggests
We all agree then we end up doing like 5 more.
We each pick one and then do one together.
After we're done we make our way back to find Daniel and the girls.
We walk up to see them all stretched out.
They must be working on tanning.
"It's about time you guys come back." Daniel jokes
"Yeah took you long enough." Keel adds
"Oh wow did you miss us then?" Jack plays along
The three of them took at one another then speak in unison.
"Nah"
The four of us pretend to be wounded.
I sit down next to Ivy.
"So are we working on a tan?"
"Mhm."
"Did you do another layer of sunscreen so you don't burn yourself?"
"Fuck. I knew I forgot something."
I grab the sunscreen out of the bag.
"I got you. If you're lucky it won't be so bad."
I help her apply another layer of sunscreen.
"Don't make this awkward." I mouth
It doesn't need to be that way because I'm literally just helping her with sunscreen.
We all need sunscreen.
Once Ivy has a layer on the rest of us put another one on too.
We decide to lay out a little longer.
"It's not gonna be that bad of a burn. I don't think anyways." I say
"Oh god I hope not."
"Maybe we got the other layer on before the burn started. Either way it'll be okay." I assure her
