Keel's Pov

In the morning I lay there and wait to open my eyes.

If I don't open my eyes quickly then I can't be blinded quickly.

I lay there a few moments.

Today.

I can't help but smile.

This has been one really long week.

I can't wait to see the guys.

Of course, V and I still have to figure out how this is all gonna go down.

That and I still have some work to catch up on.

I got a few things caught up last night.

Zach is doing surprisingly well with this whole not talking to me thing.

I'm impressed.

I really hope he got caught up too because it's not fair for him to make me get caught up and then for him to just not do any of his work.

That's not how this works.

After a few more moments I finally open my eyes and then work on getting out of bed.

This is always the hard part.

I smell coffee.

Bless V.

She must've just brought me some and set it on my nightstand.

I reach for it and then take a few sips.

Ah.

Living on my own would literally suck because I function a lot better with V.

She couldn't be on her own either.

We help each other.

I'm completely okay with that.

Once I can function a bit better I walk to the bathroom and take care of a few things before returning to my room.

I sit at my desk.

Let's get the rest of this over with.

I got the ones that take the longest out of the way last night.

Pretty impressed that there was a method to all the madness.

Each subject takes about 2 and a half hours each.

I only take breaks to get me a drink or use the bathroom.

I'm serious about getting this stuff done.

So I don't have to deal with it for a while and then so people won't ignore me.

After many, many, agonizing hours I'm finally all caught up.

Even a bit ahead.

And by that, I'm ahead to where everyone else would be for fall break.

So I have at least 6 weeks off

I feel very accomplished!

It's now time for dinner.

I reorganize things and put them away so I don't have to look at it all anymore.

I then make my way out to our living room.

"Finally finished?" V asks

"Yes! That was painful. Very painful."

"But you're finally caught up!"

"Even better, I'm ahead. I'm just passed where everyone would be for fall break."
