buddies part 2

the next morning...

Today is the warrior's open practice and of course Y/N showed up since Jordan did invite her. She sat in her seat that was very close to the court and reminded herself that she needs to thank him. Her purse sat in her lap and she watched everyone having fun and all the families that were here as well. One thing for sure is that she is very worn out from last night and doesn't understand how Jordan is this energetic.

Jordan would look in the crowd every now and then and almost every time he would catch Y/N mid yawn. Last night was great and probably one of the best sessions they've had in a long time. He just didn't think his baby would be this tired. The players were about to start throwing tshirts and stress balls into the crowd before they scrimmage. Jordan grabs one of each making his way towards Y/N. He tried to be slick and toss it to her so nobody wouldn't notice and he walks away. Of course she was laughing but he was being so secretive and awkward at the same time.

The practice went on and she just loves watching Jordan doing what he loves you know. She can tell he was having fun out on the court.

The open practice was over by know and she was waiting for Jordan in the garage since he drove her over there. After a good fifteen minutes he comes out running towards her. He gives her a quick kiss and then opens the door for her.

"Did you enjoy yourself?"

"Yeah I had fun", she smiles.

"I'm glad you did....you staying over at my place for the week?"

"I guess I can",Y/N playfully roll her eyes.

"Stop acting like you don't want to spend time with me."

"But I do I'm sorry daddy."

"Y/N stop before I pull over somewhere seclusive and take you in the backseat."

Y/N knew to stop because Jordan will actually drive all over San Francisco just to find a spot. He was smiling knowing that he sort of got her to chill out, but was hoping she wouldn't continue her antics.

After the semi short drive Y/N and Jordan finally make it to her place. His two cats Kota and Kai come up to her and she gets excited because she hasn't seen them in two weeks.

"Hi my babies."

Jordan enters his bedroom with Y/N following him while carrying Kai.

"Awe you kept everything the same."

"I mean you basically live here and it's the same for when I come over", he smiles, "also I go you more hygiene things because I noticed you were running low."

"Running low because you keep using my stuff I smelled my tree hut scrub when you got out of the shower this morning."

"I just want to smell like my baby sometimes."

Y/N playfully rolls her eyes climbing into the bed. Kota decided to join as well and snuggled up to Y/N's chest.

"They missed their mommy."

Jordan always jokes around and calls the cats their kids, but sometimes he wonders what if they actually start having some. She's a year younger than him, but already has her life together and that turns him on so much. When they met she had already graduated due to her graduating early and being a head taking college classes in high school. At times Jordan is ready to give Y/N his all but doesn't know how she feels about it.

Y/N stayed back at the apartment while Jordan went out to go pick up their food. You know at times Y/N is ready to give Jordan her all but she doesn't know if he feels the same. She was just chilling in his bed with one of his Michigan shirts on because that is what she always sleeps in when she's over. The front door opens and Jordan place the food in the kitchen calling Y/N's name. He gives her a kiss picking her up and placing her on top of the one of the kitchens countertops.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah what's up."

"So I was thinking when regular season starts do you maybe want to come to the games? I can get you tickets and have you sit with the other player's family and friends."

"I would love to come to your games."

Y/N pulls on his hoodie brining him closer for another kiss.

"What do you want me to say when the wives ask me who I am?"

"My girlfriend", Jordan thought.

"That's a good question I don't know what do you tell other people", Jordan said trying to get some insight.

"I just tell people we're vibing right now if that's ok."

Jordan honestly felt relieved because it's saying they're not necessarily dating but they're necessarily friends either. Maybe her being comfortable to say that is a step moving forward.
