buddies part 6

9 months pregnant....

The whole pregnancy has been nothing but a rollercoaster for the couple. Y/N's first trimester was cool but once she hit four months she did nothing but blow up. Her face and feet got wider, she was gaining weight like crazy, and her constant mood swings were killing Jordan. It's like one minute she's loves him and the next they're arguing about petty shit.

All she knows is that she was ready to get these two babies out of her. Yes babies the couple found out a few months ago that they will be having twins, two boys and Jordan was excited. Apparently he was hiding behind his brother the first time and the doctor couldn't see him. They will soon be the father of two boys it's just so exciting. Their room is ready for them and it's animal kingdom theme because Jordan didn't want to go ahead and assign a sport to them. They're not sure if the twins will be fraternal or identical but they think one will look like Jordan and the other will look like Y/N.

The mom to be waddles into their shared bedroom after using the bathroom to get her morning routine started. Her stomach was as round as ever and she didn't think she would be able to carry her sons full term, but her doctor tells her that everything looks fine and that they're doing great. As for Jordan he's been really patient with her and soaks up all the information he's been getting about parenting and things like that. After his practices he goes Lamaze classes just to get his girlfriend ready for childbirth.

She walks over to his side of the bed to see him reading Parenting 101: the beauty of parenthood. His glasses were on the bridge of his nose.

"Good morning old man", she laughs pushing his glasses up.

"Good morning baby and my other babies."

Every morning Jordan gives her stomach two kisses and says good morning to the boys.

"I can't wait for them to get here."

"Yeah it's almost that time", she smiles, "I'm excited."

"Me too we still need to come up with names."

The couple has been holding off on that because they don't want to stress themselves out about it too much.

"Yeah I have baby names in my phone but I don't know how to feel about them."

"It's alright baby it's a judge free zone."

"Ok since we are having two boys what about Oakland and Oakley?"

"It's different....and I'm kind of liking it."

"Well what do you have in mind?"

"Jordan jr. and that's all I got but I actually like Oakland and Oakley, let's call my parents to tell them."

Jordan's parents actually loved the names and were so excited that their grandsons will be coming soon.

"Oakland Andrew and Oakley Allen we might switch the middle names once they're born", she smiles.

Jordan was still listening to his girlfriend but was also busy scrubbing her legs. They take all of their showers together now so Jordan can help her reach places that she can't anymore.

"Yeah I just think it all depends on how the babies react to their names."

"Jordan I love you."

"I love you too I wouldn't trade this for anything."

"Even us arguing and the feet rubs?"

"I wouldn't trade those either."

"You're going to be a great dad."

"Huh?"

"You're going to be a great dad to our boys."

"Stop it before I start crying in this shower", he laughs.

Y/N was really loving with where she was at in life. Even though she had to put her career on the shelf she was happy with it. She decided to not apply for that job within the organization because who was going to look after the babies. After having a talk with Jordan he told her to not worry about anything and that he has it under control. She never would've imagined being so dependent on any man but with the circumstances and Jordan loves taking care of her.

Stepping out of the shower Jordan helps her dry off her legs and wraps the towel around her body.

"You want anything to eat baby?"

"Yes please can you make me those honey hot lemon pepper wings you made the other night but make it spicy."

"Of course."

By the looks of it, the couple was probably going to spend the day in and Y/N threw on one of his sweatshirts and some maternity cotton shorts she got a while back. One that she has been doing constantly is working out. One of the strength and conditioning coaches from the warriors offered to work with her so whenever Jordan is done with practice he is right any her side helping her with her reps. All she knows is that her snatch back is about to go crazy.

As soon as she sat down she thought she peed on herself again until she got up and more water ran down her legs.

"Jordan you might want to put the food up."

"Why what's wrong I thought you were hungry?"

She couldn't help but laugh because he came out of the kitchen with his chef hat and apron on.

"Oakland and Oakley are coming", she whines in pain.

Y'all please don't come for me about these names o thought they were cute and I said if I were to have twins I would name them that😭💗me and my friends were coming up with baby names and I was like those would be cute lmao
