Hi there! This is the second part of this story so, if you're part of the few people that read the stories I make for this ship, please read the first one before!!! (◠‿・)—☆

Also, WARNING, this part contains a little bit of blood, but it's only a paragraph or so and nothing too graphic.

Now let's proceed! (≧▽≦)

-------------------------------------------------------

Colombia's POV

He had refused to go back to the town ever since that day.

His father had tried almost everything before finally giving up, deciding to take the youngest of the three siblings with him every time he needed an extra pair of hands.

He watched as their dad looked back one last time, opening his mouth for a moment -as if to try to convince him once again- before shaking his head with a heavy sigh and calling Ecuador, who was pulling the reins of the horses to guide them to the dirt path that would take them to the town.

The sound of his relieved sigh was only heard when the silhouettes of the two disappeared on the horizon, getting lost under the foggy early morning that covered the distant mountains. Finally being able to relax, he walked back into the shadows of the house, getting ready to repair the broken fence that was supposed to separate the space between their closest neighbor's farm and their own.

He scoffed.

His dad had threatened him with the task only to convince him to go to the town with him, but even if he cut his hands open and ended up bleeding out in the forest or succumbing to tetanus, he would continue to refuse to go back to that place.

"Ah, papá, if you only knew" he mumbled as he put the tools on the bag, packing some coffee on his thermos flask to drink while he was there.

"If he knew what, Colombia" the voice of Venezuela said, pulling him out of his thought process, and making him turn around frantically and stuttering.

"Nothing, nada, nothing at all, just saying nonsense!"

The slightly smaller brother raised an eyebrow, obviously trying to hide the smirk that was fighting to climb his lips at the sight of his older brother being a complete mess.

"Oh? Que pasó Colombia, are you feeling sick? Is that the reason dad's taking Ecuador with him this week?" The country with stars said with an exaggerated sweet voice. "Maybe you should take better care of yourself, you've been quite red this past few days, you could be getting a fever!"

"Calláte Venezuela, keep on teasing me, and I'll make sure to tell papá that you broke his radio and that's why he can't find it anywhere" the older brother replied with a snarl.

"Pst, aguafiestas" replied Venezuela before preparing the fire under the stove to make lunch. "Anyways, if I were you, I would probably go repair that thing soon, it will probably take all morning"

That was true.

Sighing, he walked out of the house, securing his backpack and starting the long way to the broken fence. He walked by the rows of coffee bushes, passing the small area were they had started to plant corn and deviating a little from the path and to the fruit trees that stood colourfully on one side of the property, deciding to take a few tangerines with him to snack while he worked.

After fifteen minutes, he was back into the path, entering the wood area that they had decided to maintain intact and that connected the next property with their own.

The sound of water made him know that he was close to the small creak that crossed their farm, joining the main river of the town a few kilometers down the current. Changing his direction to the sound he located it in no time and, after walking a few minutes up the current, he finally found a place narrow enough to cross it by jumping over rocks.
