I wish everyday could be like these past few days , just me and Luca, enjoying each other's company.
"Bambina, you are home," Luca says bringing me back to reality, holding his hand out for me to take. It was dark out, probably around nine
"Right," I say taking his hand. He goes to the trunk and grabs my suitcase and walks me up to my doorstep.
"I really enjoyed this get away with you," I say, unlocking the door.
"Me too," Luca says pecking my lips numerous times. "Goodbye bambina, I will call you in an hour or so."
"Okay bye," I say as he retreats back to the car and drives away. I get into the house with my suitcase, closing the door and leaning against it, smiling to myself.
I lock the door and make my way up to my room with the suitcase. I turn on the hot water in the shower and strip out of my clothes. Just as I am about to go into the shower, the doorbell rings making me put on my robe and go to the door.
Who could it be at this time of the night?
I look through the peephole to see Vanessa. I quickly unlock the door and pull it open. There stood my best friend, tears in her eyes, a duffle bag in her hands.
"Girl what happened?" I say pulling her into a hug.
"Leo.... Leo," she cries
"What did Leo do?"
"Leo...cheated on me," she reveals before bursting into tears.
"What do you mean he cheated on you? Come in and sit down," I say, leading her to my dining room. "Explain to me what happened"
"I was just at home and this girl knocked on our door claiming she slept with my husband, and the worst part is she is heavily pregnant with his child," Vanessa explains, tears on her cheeks and boogers in her nose, I give her a tissue to wipe her face with." And at first I just thought it was a joke but she had copies of screenshots of conversations with Leo and Luca about the baby and even has a picture of her and Leo in bed the night they made the baby in her womb, Mo it was merely weeks before our wedding, why did he marry me if he didn't want to be with me!?" She continues, breaking out into sobs.
"Girl come here," I say pulling her into my chest and hugging her. "It's going to be alright," I whisper, rubbing her back.
"I hope you don't mind but you were the first person I thought of, I can go check into a hotel tomorrow!" she says after ten minutes of her letting it all out on my shoulder.
"Girl, hotel for what, my house is your house, you will stay here as long as you need," I say genuinely
