Sienna was backwith her father the following day, where she belonged. Things were relatively back to normal a few months later, except Vanessa had a healthy baby boy, Kian, and was filling for divorce. It hurt to see my friend heartbroken but Kian was exactly what she needed to heal her broken heart. He was three months old now, a healthy little precious baby boy.
"He is too cute," I gush, giving his chubby little cheeks a soft pinch.
"I know right," Vanessa says gently stroking his head, a gentle smile on her face. "Im sorry for bothering you on your day off but you know how I feel about babysitters, I haven't found one I can truly trust with my baby but I need to check up on my restaurant, I haven't been there since giving birth"
"It's okay girl, you know I love spending time with my nephew and godson, go, you need some alone time anyway," I say dismissively before taking the baby bag from her.
"Thank you again," she says before saying bye and leaving. I close the door and take Kian to the living room.
"Who was that?" Luca asks, coming downstairs in a pair of black shorts.
"Vanessa, she just dropped off Kian," I say, motioning to the little boy in my arms.
"Not that I'm complaining, but why didn't she leave him with Leo?" He asks, taking the baby from me.
"Leo is juggling being a father to two infants, I guess she wanted to give him a break," I shrug, already knowing that was a lie.
Luca shakes his head disapprovingly. "Mo, he is complaining about barely seeing Kian, she never leaves him with Kian. I know what he did was wrong, but Kian is still his son"
"You and I said we would stay out of their relationship Luca," I give him a pointed look.
"I know bambina, but-" "I'll talk to her," I cut him off.
"Thats all I'm asking for," he says softly, rocking Kian to sleep.

"He's been asleep for over two hours, are we sure he's alive?" Luca asks, lightly putting his finger under his nose to check his breathing.
"He is fine, it's totally normal at this stage babe," I say with a chuckle.
The doorbell rings and Luca goes to answer the door. Luca and whoever it is at the door talk in hush voices before I hear two sets of footsteps coming my way. I turn and lo and behold, Leo is in our house.
"Luca, what is this?" I ask looking between the two before looking at Luca who was avoiding my gaze.
"Look, this isn't an ambush but V has been ignoring Leo and its been almost three months bambina, it can't go on like this," I let out a huff, he is right but this is not the way to do it.
