The couple's boot camp was a success, not only for Leo and Vanessa but also for Mo and Luca, they realized that even though they didn't have issues, couples counseling would be a good way to keep it that way. Not only did they learn more about how they want to be loved, but they also learnt how that came to be based on their upbringing.

"Mo, can I leave please, my period cramps are killing me, nothing is working," Bianca says as she enters her office.

"It's all good, today is a slow day, go rest," she says waving her out.

"Thank you," she says before disappearing, closing the door behind her.

On the topic of periods, Mo was reminded of her own that was supposed to be due any day soon. She opens up the Flo app to find out when her period was supposed to start.

14 days

Her period is 14 days late.

This isn't the first time her period is late, but by fourteen days, definitely a first.

This was definitely concerning, she was a doctor, she knew it could only be pregnancy, she has never skipped her period, and the chances of this being the first, a very slim chance.

She can't deny her love for Luca, but realistically, they weren't ready for a baby, not yet. They were almost going two years, but still, she wanted to be a wife before being a mother, she couldn't be a baby mama. She was beyond disappointed in herself, she had a plan set from a young age, how could she ruin it.

A panic attack creeping up, her breathing becomes labored, she grabs her water bottle and gulps down the whole bottle.

"Stay calm," she says to herself, taking deep breaths as she rests her head on her seat, eyes closed.

"Fuck, I need to tell Luca." She says once she has steadied her breathing.

She spent the rest of her morning thinking about all the possibilities and how she would tell Luca. Would he be happy? Would he run for the hills? Did he even want a baby? She couldn't be more relieved when her lunch break came around, she could finally stop the "what if" questions about how Luca would take it and just tell him already.

Luca watches as Mo paces up and down his office floor, clearly bothered by something, she seemed to be in her own world.

"Bambina?" He says for what feels like the twentieth time, she continues to pace as if she didn't hear him. Luca takes her shoulders gently to stop her pacing "Come sit and tell me what's wrong," he says gently, leading her to his chair. He sits her on his chair before leaning on the table in front of her. "Talk to me babe, something is clearly wrong." He says, genuinely worried because of her distant state.

"My period is late, and yeah sometimes it's late but it's never been two weeks, I think I'm pregnant," she says all in one breath.

"Okay," Luca says monotonously, processing the information. A child is a big deal. "Everything is fine, after work I'll buy a pregnancy test and you can take it at home, right now it's simply an assumption." He says reassuringly, taking her hands into mine.

She lets out a deep breath "Okay, you are right. But what if-"

"No what if's bambina," he interrupts. "We take the test first." He says sternly. "Now did you eat something or should I order you something?" He asks, already knowing she probably didn't eat anything

"Can I get dunked wings?"

"Okay baby," he says before grabbing his phone to put in the order.

"Okay so I didn't know which brand is best so I bought all of them...all eight of them," Luca says sheepishly, placing the plastic of pregnancy tests on the bed making Mo giggle. "Okay so in hindsight maybe eight was a little overboard."

"You think," Mo says humorously, grabbing the whole bag of tests, opening them up before disappearing into the bathroom with them.

"And now we wait," Mo says coming out of the bathroom before going into Luca's open arms, burying her head into his chest. "What if I'm pregnant?" She says barely above a whisper, as if not wanting to put it out into the universe.

"We've got this baby," Luca says rubbing circles on her back.

"Luca it's too soon, I've always wanted to be married before I was pregnant, how could I be so reckless, I'm so disappointed in myself," Mo says, looking up at Luca with teary eyes.

"Don't beat yourself up bambina, let's not jump the gun, let's wait on the results. Either way, we've got this," Luca says comfortingly.

The couple sit in silence as they wait on the timer, although it was silent, both their minds were racing at a thousand miles with the prospect of bringing a child into the world. After the timer, the pair go into the bathroom to see the tests on the counter.

"Not pregnant," Mo says looking at the tests. "Thats good," she says turning to Luca.

"Yeah, good," Luca says, kissing her forehead and giving her a quick hug before leaving the room. "Im going out for a breather bambina," Luca rushes out, leaving the room before Mo could get a word in.

He takes his car, driving to nowhere in particular. He parks in a random parking lot before pulling out his phone.

"Mamma," Luca says into the phone

"Cosa c'è che non va, figlio mio?" Evelyn says, sensing that something was wrong.
[Whats wrong my son?]

"Abbiamo avuto uno spavento per la gravidanza," he says getting straight to the point.
[We had a pregnancy scare]

"She's not pregnant, but...but for a minute, I hoped she was, the idea of a child is scary, but a child with her didn't seem so scary, so much so that my heart dropped when i saw the negative results, I envisioned her pregnant with my child and it just felt right. But Mo was happy and I don't know how to feel about that, does she not want kids with me?" He pours out.

"Of course she's happy, no woman wants a baby before a ring, especially Mo," she says obviously.

"I know. I love Mo and all I want is to be a father to our children and husband to her for the rest of my life, in that few minutes of waiting for the test results I wanted it so bad. I can't be a father right now, and it sucks, but it gives me the chance to do it the right way and be her husband first"

"I'm so proud of you baby, I love you and I love Mo, and you taking this step makes me so happy," she says tearing up. "Chi pensava che avresti abbandonato la vita da scapolo, hai giurato che saresti morto da scapolo," She says jokingly, making him chuckle.
[who thought you would leave the bachelor life, you swore you would die a bachelor]

"Well, looks like I have to pop the question," Luca says, a boyish grin growing on his face.
