"Now, now. I don't wish to harm you."

By now, small specklets of the bar were burnt. Dabi was behind the counter now, keeping a death glare in the misted figure before him.

"How the fuck do I know you aren't playing some stupid fucking mind games?" Dabi sneered, cocking a brow and managing his glare.

"If I meant harm, Himiko here would be as good as dead." Kurogiri argued bluntly, raising an arm up to Toga, who beamed.

The ravenette stared at the two. He has a point, half of his mind spoke, But...then what happened to the viciousness? The working for Kaori? Taking a minute to regain himself, Dabi slowly stood up straight again. He ran his hand through his hair.

"But...you..." his eyes shifted up to Kurogiri. "You worked with him! I-I thought-"

"You thought wrong." Kurogiri jumped in quickly. "I left Master's side years ago. When I found out Young Master was out alone, I took charge and responsibility of looking out for him; making sure he didn't get in trouble and things like that."

The ravenette stared into Kurogiri's lifeless eyes. Something felt wrong about what he said. And it wasn't his jealousy or rage. Something about how they were standing, how Kurogiri had explained everything, it made him feel as if he was talking to his father.

Before Dabi could interrogate him, a voice came from the hallway.

"You know, it's REALLY hard to concentrate with all this fucking noise down here."

The three villains looked over and watched as a cyanette haired individual stalked out of the darkness. His eyes narrowed up at them, locking right onto Dabi's. There was a sense of hatred there, one Dabi knew like the back of his hand. Taking a soft breath, the ravenette allowed a sly smirk to spread across his face.

"Hey there." Dabi greeted, giving Shigaraki a swift nod.

The new figures eyes narrowed down even more, the few sparkles that were once there disappearing. "Who the hell let him in."

"I did." Giran spoke up from the door.

"Why?" The cyanette spat.

"He was looking to join the League." The elder looking male shrugged. "You did say we are in need of new members, didn't you? I thought he'd be a good addition to the team!"

Shigaraki turned his gaze to Giran. A low growl erupted from his throat as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Why didn't you ask me first?" The leader snapped, visibly pissed off at this point.

"Because you've been moody all week and none of us know why because you refuse to talk and today was your worst day. It seemed like if one of us tried to talk to you, you'd try to kill us!" Giran countered, holding his hands up defensively.

Shigaraki glared at him. He growled softly and pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation. It felt... different to see him like this. Normally, Dabi was used to the quiet and calm Tomura. But now, seeing him snap at something so small? It was sort of discerning.

"Well I'm here now." The ravenette finally cut in. "Don't blame him for something that I did."

Shigaraki's eyes shifted to him. The glare he was giving Dabi sent a shiver down his spine. Making his way down out of the hallway, Shigaraki made his way over to Dabi. His eyes narrowed as he met eyes with the ravenette.

"And what? You think you can just stroll right in here and take control of MY league? Stick up for them and think that'll win them over?" Shigaraki scoffed, an irritated smirk spreading across his face. "That's real fucking pathetic."

The ravenette crossed his arms, narrowing them down at the slightly smaller male. It was easy to tell how pissed off he was, and Dabi knew him being there wouldn't make it any better. Taking a deep breath, Dabi finally spoke up.

"First of all: I didn't plan of "taking control of your league." Don't just jump to conclusions; that will get you hurt in the end. Second of all: I'm only "sticking up for him" because what he is saying is true. I was brought here because I wanted to join your little "league"."

Shigaraki's bright, ruby eyes met Dabi's own cold, ice blue ones. For the moment the ravenette had to study them, they seemed blank, almost lost in a way. Like he had been missing something important. Finally, the cyanette sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"You know what, I don't care anymore." He looked at Dabi. "I hope you're as strong as you look."

The ravenette smirked slyly. He watched the smaller villain like a hawk as he made his way over to Toga, bowing down to whisper something in her ear. Somehow, her pupils seemed to dilate as her bright yellow eyes shifted to Dabi.

"Kurogiri, show him to the empty room." Shigaraki ordered as he and Toga both made their way down the hall.

The misted figure nodded to the unresponsive leader as he and the blonde girl disappeared down the hallway. He turned to Dabi again and flicked his head to the other side.

"If you would follow me." Kurogiri announced.

The ravenette nodded softly and followed him. No matter what he did, he couldn't get Shigaraki's glare out of his head. He looked so...angry. Dabi thought, shifting his eyes down to his hand. How does he not remember me?

"Hey, Kurogiri?" Dabi asked once they were alone.

"Yes, Touya?"

"It's..Dabi." Kurogiri looked over at him. "And what's up with Tomura? I mean...I know years can change people, but I thought he'd at least have the faintest memory of me!"

Kurogiri's gaze seemed to soften as he looked at the confused ravenette before him. A soft sigh escaped the body formation as he shook his head.

"Because he doesn't remember you."

That quote made Dabi's blood run cold. He stared at the figure before him in bewilderment, blinking blankly.

"The...hell are you getting at?" Dabi snapped unsurely.

"He doesn't remember you. Everything past age..16 was erased." Kurogiri's gaze shifted to where, supposedly, Shigaraki's room was. "He doesn't know; he's just confused. It took him over three months to remember Himiko alone. But...adding you on top of that? I think that might just finish him off."

The body of fog turned his gaze to Dabi. He was unsurprised to be greeted with an unsure yet heartbroken look.

"Please understand; all of this was necessary." Kurogiri apologized. He turned around and disappeared, leaving Dabi confused, heartbroken, and alone in front of a blank wooden door.
